This is a record even for ABC’s The Bachelorette! Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried went public with their supposed love affair only 2.5 weeks ago and guess what, it’s already over and done with! I think they only person that might be surprised by this is Des herself who seemed to have tried super hard to convince herself that she loved Chris. Those of us watching knew he was her second choice at best and even host Chris Harrison had said everyone was shocked to see a proposal come out of this season.
The Sept. 1st print edition of In Touch has all the dirty details on why this couple lasted literal minutes together in Seattle. Des had agreed to move there to be with her new fiance and hopefully she didn’t unpack very much because it was always going to be a short stay. What went wrong? Well viewers new that the minute Brooks Forester left the show Des really should have packed it in. If she was even slightly in love with anyone it was Brooks and he made it clear that in the end, that feeling would never be mutual.
Des fell for the idea of walking away from the show with a ring and tried to convince herself that she was in love with Chris. Mentally he fit the bill but it was clear that she had talked herself into loving him and once they left paradise for real life she realized it was a huge mistake.
Also in the new issue of In Touch you can read the latest information about the suicide of former Bachelorette contestant, Gia Allemond who hung herself last week. We now know that shortly before she took her own life her boyfriend, Ryan Anderson admitted that his feelings had changed and that information was too much for her to handle.
