Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are doing a terrible job of hiding their secret romance, unless they’ve just stopped caring. According to our sources, Gillian and David came to the Comic-Con Paley Convention in New York City this past weekend together for an X-Files panel, and they were by each others’ sides throughout the whole thing. They reportedly arrived together, left together, were spotted holding hands – and she was seen wearing his jacket.
Keep in mind, all this public PDA and hand holding was in addition to their proximity in interviews. They were reportedly very close during the panel, and flirted and complimented each other throughout the interviews. He made sure she was never cold, even putting his coat jacket on her at one point. They also admitted that they went through so much together, and they can only ever share that experience with each other.
I mean, if they weren’t together, this is some master class pretending no? Sure, they could be drumming up interest and buzz for another X-Files movie, which they did comment on. They mentioned that there were some ideas being thrown around, but it wasn’t a done deal. Could this lovey dovey-ness be a way of getting the film greenlit?
In reality, it’s a higher possibility that they’re dating, and they’re probably done trying to keep it a secret. It’s been rumored for a long while now that something’s going on between Gillian and David, and it’s about time they give up trying to put on a facade. After making so many public appearances together, it’s not like they don’t know that the fans will see right through any pretension.
