Recap Here:

Meredith and Derek are cuddling. He reminds her it’s the first day of her second trimester – he wants to blab the happy news. They are also expecting a settlement offer from the plane crash. He encourages her to tell Cristina.

Owen sneaks up behind a woman and grabs onto her playfully – it wasn’t Cristina, it was Jo. Cristina dies laughing when he tells her. Jo tells Alex how creeped out she was by the chief of surgery feeling her up. She says she’s got a back cramp because he has no sofa and that being his friend is ruining her life.

Jackson brings in cookies from his Mom. Richard asks him to read the card and he does. He gives Jackson the cookies. Richard’s obviously avoiding Catherine since Adel died…

In the elevator, Owen tells Derek he heard the settlement offer is today and that he hopes it’s a good one. Derek tells him that’s a lie because a quick offer means they think he did something wrong which Owen did in fact do! Owen said it was good to have it out in the open. He tells Derek he really does hope it works out.

Cristina and Alex laugh over Owen grabbing Jo, but Alex insists she’s not his GF. He said it’s weird because she’s hot, but they really are just friends. Cristina admits Owen is no longer her husband and that’s why he’s sneaking in.

Jackson comes in with the rejected cookies. He tells them his mom wants him to evaluate Webber and let her know if he really seems okay.

Heather and the other interns are riveted by Jo’s story of being accidentally fondled by the Chief. Heather wants a demonstration. Jackson walks in on the ladies copping feels and walks away. Stephanie asks to tag along with Jackson playing dumb. They agree to keep their affair super-secret. She tells him she wants to earn her surgeries.

Derek meets Callie who is sitting up a ping pong net. She tells him he needs to play ping pong for eight hours to help rehab his hand. Shane pokes his head in and gets ping pong duty. Callie takes off for surgery.

In ER, they bring in a couple that was injured by the stripper pole they got for their anniversary.

Cristina mentions Jackson and April perks up. Cristina pounces on her about yearning for Jackson. Meredith wants to know if Cristina and Owen are back on. Cristina says it’s more fun to have fun with a man who used to be her husband than an actual husband.

Shane and Derek are playing ping pong when Arizona busts in and tells him they’re needed at the court house for the offer. At the court house, Callie arrives late and missed it. They won! The judge found the hospital negligent – she wants to know about the award. It’s $15 million dollars – wait for it – each!!

In with their lawyers, they are told that pending appeal, each will get a big fat check. They all get head back to the hospital and Callie says they should celebrate – or rather have a dinner to recognize that it’s over and they won.

The stripper pole wife (Mrs. Olson) said she was doing a Sexy Flexi when she flew off the pole and onto Mr. Olson – he may have internal injuries. Bailey explains this to April and leaves her with him. He tells her the look on her face conveys how he felt.

In the elevator, Derek, Cristina and Meredith discuss the fab things they can buy and Alex is pissed that he wasn’t on the plan. Classy…

Jackson is introducing a patient (James) who has a genetic disorder that causes him to have no face bones. Sloane did tons of surgeries on him and they say they trust Jackson since Sloane considered him his guy.

He proposes a different surgery than Sloane had planned. The parents ask why he’s changing the game plan and he says it’s because James’ forehead hasn’t moved as much as Sloane thought it would. Arizona comes in and isn’t pleased about the new plan either.

Jackson tells her plastics is not her area of expertise and he can walk her through his thought process as a courtesy. She blows up.

Heather tells Meredith there’s a college student with cramps and swelling who says she’s not pregnant. Heather says the pregnancy test is negative and Meredith takes off to see the 19 year old patient.

Cristina tells Derek she knows Meredith’s pregnant. Her boobs got big and she’s eating everything. He asks why she hasn’t told her she knows and she says she’s waiting for Meredith to tell her.

Heather tells Taylor she’s not pregnant. Her mom is there and said of course not – her daughter knows better. Her mom tells her to quit chewing her hair. Heather pulls up her shirt and there’s a huge lump. The mother is being extremely pushy and yelling at her daughter. Meredith hauls the mom out of there. She tells Heather to get rid of an interfering parent.

Shane and Derek are playing ping pong while Jackson talks about James’s surgery with Derek. Derek recommends he sticks with Sloane’s plan because it was safer and more conservative.

Jo comes to see Cristina, whose standing with Owen, who is immediately flustered and tries to explain. Cristina told him to relax – that he’s making it worse. Owen pulls her into a closet and kisses her. He tells her he heard about the judgment and wanted to know if she’s okay. Cristina invites him to the survivor’s dinner. He tells her he can’t come because Derek won’t want him there – that he blames him. He tells her it was partially his fault. He tells her to just let it be them, right there, right now. They agree and get busy…

Meredith finds Richard in his “hall of horrors” – a tumor and weird surgical results collection in jars. He said he’s logging it all and then it is going offsite. She invites him to scrub in on the surgery with the girl with the weird lump. He tells her he’s fine and needs to be doing what he’s doing.

Jackson is angry that Arizona tattled on Jackson to Derek. Callie tells her they’re having sitter problems. She tells him Sloane has known James for years. He tells her he was coming to tell her he changed his mind and was going to do it Sloane’s way.

They tell Mrs. Olson that her husband’s rib punctured his diaphragm, but they’ll be able to fix it in surgery. They are prepping her for x-rays and she asks if it’s okay if there’s metal on her “cookie.” She raises the sheet and shows them – she had it vajazzled. Callie thinks it’s cool.

At ping pong, Derek beats Shane. He confronts him and says Shane is letting him win. He admits he is and says he has to let him win because he’ll be angry if he wins. Derek offers him a great surgery with another neurosurgeon if he beats him. Shane slams one by him.

Catherine shows up to check on Richard and take him to lunch. She tells him he looks thin and wants to know if he’s eating. He blows up (loudly) and tells her his wife died while he was cheating with her. He says she’s not his wife and she needs to go away. Meredith walks up and he says he has surgery with her as an excuse to walk away from Catherine.

Jo and Alex are watching the ping pong match. She wants to know his furniture plan for the house. He tells her he’s waiting on Yang to break down and furnish it. Jo and Alex bet $100 on the game. Callie comes in and says they need to take a break so she can check the hand. But they don’t want to stop – trash talking is in full force and they are doing epic battle. While Shane goes for a drink of water, Derek slams one by him.

Jo asks Cristina if she’s going to spend some of her settlement money on furniture for the house and she says why – it’s not my house. Jo tells Alex it was a great plan.

Cristina comes into the ping pong room and takes the paddle from Shane – she says it’s her turn. She tells him Derek’s holding a grudge. She says they have to move on and they need to let Owen move on too. She says he needs to forgive him. He says it’s not that easy and she says she knows, but he needs to do it anyway. Jo ups the bet to $500 and leaves with Cristina for rounds.

Jackson comes to see James who is getting a goodbye kiss from his hot girlfriend. He tells him that Sloane is to credit for getting a hot chick. He told James he needed some moves and they seem to work. James tells him not being weird looking would help too.

In surgery, Bailey wants to know why people need weird sex. She wants to know if men bedazzle their penises too. She tells someone to look it up – and someone yells ‘on it.’ She asks April if she’s ever vajazzled – one of the nurses laughs and Bailey corrects and says Jesus probably wouldn’t like it.

In another OR, Richard and Meredith find a giant hairball in the girl’s stomach. Heather tells them she used to eat her hair but quit years ago.

There’s a crowd at the window watching the ping pong match and Jo gets Alex to double up on the match point – they’re at $1,000. Derek loses the final point and the crowd goes wild. Derek asks for another game and Shane tells him he won and orders him to get on the phone and give him the surgery. Derek demands one more game and says this time he’s going to play with his dominant hand. Oh snap!

Alex tells Jo he’s got to go to the cash machine. She’s mocking him.

Meredith brings in the hair ball in a jar to Richard. She asks how he can throw it all away. He said each jar represents a surgery where he missed something with Adele – a trip to London, a dinner – he said they all remind him of his failures. He tells her she should be happy about the judgment. She tells him it’s blood money – her sister is still dead.

They tell Mrs. Olson that she’s got a bruised tail bone and that her hubby will be out in a couple of days. Bailey says he can’t drive or have sex for a month. Bailey tells her to stay off the pole. Mrs. Olson says to come back to her after 3 kids and 45 years of marriage. She says she’s trying to put the spark back in their marriage – she starts crying and says the worst was that her husband looked embarrassed for her when she fell.

In James’ surgery, he’s prepping him for his new plan. Arizona blows up and he tells her that Sloane isn’t there and he’s doing what’s best for the patient and he’s cleared it with everyone.

Bailey and Callie discuss the Olson’s marriage. Callie said she should appreciate an older couple with a sex life. Bailey tells her that she only got sex once on their honeymoon because their first night they had sex on the beach because her hoo-hah got infected with sand. They had to go to the doctor and that was it for the honeymoon. Callie laughs at her.

At dinner, everyone is low key. Derek asks about James’ surgery and she says he didn’t use Sloane’s plan. Arizona said she watched the whole time – all 5 hours. Callie makes a toast and says Arizona stood for 5 hours, Derek didn’t want to stop playing ping pong because his wrist didn’t hurt. She tells them they are all trying to move on which is progress even though it seems sad and wrong. She says she misses Mark and Lexie and heartbroken that they’re not there, but she’s also grateful that all of them are and she’s celebrating that. She forces them to toast.

Meredith turns down the champagne and Callie bullies her about it until she admits she’s pregnant. She says she’s happy and they all toast.

Richard shows up to the restaurant and finds Catherine. He tells her he failed Adele and that he can’t grieve. He feels like he lost the right to grieve when he started seeing her. She says she wants to be there, to help him. She asks if she can just hold his hand and he allows it.

Jackson tells James the surgery went well and that the bad news is, he’s going to be just another pretty face. Stephanie says Jackson told her that James may not need another surgery and Leah guesses that she’s been sleeping with him. She’s made because Steph called her a skank for bedding Alex.

Heather tells hair ball girl that she needs to stand up to her mom. She tells the mom she needs a therapist. Mom says she doesn’t need therapy, she just needs to stop. Taylor speaks up to her mom and tells her she will take her to a therapist.

Jackson comes to see April and tells her about Stephanie. He said he didn’t want her to find out from someone else. She tears up a little but says okay. She tells him she misses him. She says they were friends and now they’re nothing. He tells her they can still be friends. But she says she wants to kiss him, so she’s not ready to be his friend yet. She thanks him for telling her and walks away.

April comes to see Mr. Olson. She says medically she’s fine, but otherwise… She tells him his wife is horny and needs sex. She asks if his equipment works and he says yes. She tells him to use it and says if she was married, she’d do it all day.

Jo surprises Alex with a couch. She bought it with the money she won from him in the bet. He says it’s a girlfriend thing to do. She tells him he’s like a brother and sleeping with him would be gross.

Derek calls Owen and asks him to come to the dinner. He says he can’t. Derek gives Cristina the phone and tells her to make Owen come. Derek comes back on line and he says whatever you’re doing drop it and come over.

Owen heads back into a meeting with the board. There’s an insurance loophole in the settlement. There can be no more than two attendings on an authorized trip. The insurance won’t pay – the hospital has to pay! Seattle Grace Mercy West will have to declare bankruptcy and close up shop!
