Spring break has come to BlueBell; Mayor Lavon Hayes wanted to attract tourism. Zoe however was never a partyer and she can only see it as an invasion of drunk college students. But Wade is happy and maybe he’ll be happier with the way things are going with his boss at the bar.

The bar owner wants to retire, something he revealed to Doctor Zoe first. He wants to enjoy his life and live a little. There’s just one problem. With the news circulating the town; there just maybe more than one potential buyer for the bar/restaurant.  Wade whose always dream of owning his bar puts in an offer only to be laughed at. Lemon also wants the bar but she doesn’t have any capital.

Annabeth, who made up with Lemon, on the other hand is still in love with Lavon but doesn’t want to risk her friendship. Although her loss is starting to look like someone else’s gain. Ruby Jeffries has returned to town and by the way she’s calmy and a little bit flirtatiously talking to Lavon, that door is not looking fully closed.

Zoe is talked into enjoying spring break and surprisingly with a Breeland. Jonah convinced to let loose but before she can do that with him, their date is halted by George. Jonah thinks it’s sabotage and Zoe gets mad at him before storming off.

Lemon finds out her arch nemesis Ruby is back. She decides to enter the contest Ruby is running in order to use money from it to buy the bar. Still she’s not the only one with idea because also joined the contest and with the same motive. Lemon with her stubbornness and Wade with his sob stories, who will win? Well Wade does manage to knock a contestant but Lemon has chosen to emulate his technique. They managed to wheedle it down to only three. Themselves and one crazy lady.

Zoe confronts George about his sabotage, which she found out about thanks to Brick, leaving him have to explain not only her but his girlfriend Tansy as well. His excuse was that he wasn’t jealous but that he just doesn’t like Jonah. Zoe storms off with the intention of trying to make it up to Jonah

Zoe and Jonah are enjoying themselves  and so are, Lemon and Wade, who joined to get together and manage to get rid of their third wheel.

George interrupts Zoe’s date again but this time because something seems to be wrong with Brick. Shelby brought it to George attention that Brick’s been a little off for a while now. After relaying the worries over Brick, Zoe and Jonah finally believe him and set out to find Brick.

Jonah and Zoe confront Brick over his symptoms and he agrees to run some tests as long as they don’t tell Shelby.

Annabeth catches Lavon and immediately also catches Ruby right behind him. Ruby wants Lavon back but he needs to think about it. Annabeth who sees all of this manages to hold in her tears.

Lemon and Wade are still holding onto the boat when Zoes comes in to tell Lemon about her dad. After hearing about her winning by herself though, Wade pulls his hand off the same time as Lemon. Lavon calls it a tie.

At the hospital, everyone is waiting to hear about Brick’s MRI when suddenly Lemon finally gives her permission to Annabeth to pursue a relationship with Lavon. Zoe apologizes to George for accusing him of using Brick to sabotaging her date. George apologizes too for actually sabotaging her earlier.

Jonah and George are fighting at the vending machine when Brick comes out of the hospital room. Seeing his loved ones waiting on him, he assures them that everything is fine.

Annabeth tells Lavon that she wants to be with him despite Ruby’s return until he interrupts her to say he told Ruby he was in love with someone else.

Meanwhile Lemon and Wade are thinking about going into business together in order to get the restaurant. And sadly, Jonah leaves town without his romance with Zoe getting off the ground.

Nevertheless in next week’s promo, Zoe might get some action. She’s playing Juliette to George’s Romeo. How will Tansy feel about that?
