On tonight’s show the Top 12 Finalists will perform songs from the 1980s for the judges and America’s votes when the voting lines open immediately after the show.
Judges comments: Paulina said, “I love it, every week you give us a little more.” Demi said, “I think you are so great, you are one of my favorite. You sound awesome.” Simon said, “Week after week you are great but my problem is you wanna be a rock song. I want something else, you need to push yourself to go outside your comfort zone.” Kelly said, “You know what I love about you is, you are not afraid to work hard.”
Because of a computer glitch the artists were required to perform twice last week. Jeff Gutt sang “In The Air Tonight” for his “save me” song. The judges had this to say about his performance last week, “Kelly said he rocked out the song really hard. Simon said the performance was a little bit corny but good; Demi agrees with Simon.” If you want to see Jeff Gutt make it another week, you have to vote for him.
To make up for last week having to bump Selena Gomez she will be performing this week her hit single, “Slow Down,” from her No. 1 album, “Stars Dance.” Also performing are Fifth Harmony, who will be promoting their new album, “Better Together.” By tomorrow Mario Lopez will announce two more acts eliminated from the competition
