Camilla Parker-Bowles Refuses To Allow Prince Charles To Attend Kate Middleton's Hospital Baby Birth - Jealousy or Strategy?

Camilla Parker-Bowles is a real piece of work – but we’ve already told you that. Today she has simply made one more misstep in proving it. By now everyone knows that Kate Middleton has been admitted to St. Mary’s to give birth. It’s go time and there’s no turning back now for the Duchess and Prince William. After 9 months of excitement the Royal heir is about to make its’ grand entrance and one person that will be nowhere near London is Prince Charles!

Instead he and Camilla went on with their plans to head to Yorkshire for scheduled engagements. I realize that this is Kate’s first baby which means that her labor could drag on for more than 24 hours and so life needs to go on a bit, but shouldn’t Charles at least be in London awaiting news? It’s Charles’ first grandchild (that we know of) AND second in line for the British crown, after him, so I would think that he really wants to be there for his son! Also what many people don’t realize is that Charles is actually very close to Kate so I’m thinking it’s really hard for him to be anywhere but near to his family right now.

As for Camilla pulling rank, well that’s no surprise. She has been jealous of Kate from the get go and hardly tries to hide her hatred for the younger and far more respected Duchess. This young woman has already proven to be everything that Camilla is not and that fact just eats away at Camilla so of course if there’s a way to cast a shadow over the Royal delivery Camilla will find it. In this case it is keeping a father and son apart at a crucial point in time!

Do you think that Charles will drop everything in order to return to London once the baby is born? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
