Lamar Odom Chooses Drugs Over His Marriage to Khloe Kardashian - Refuses Rehab and Intervention

Friday’s news that Lamar Odom has a raging hard-core drug abuse problem helped to put his mess of a marriage to Khloe Kardashian in perspective. This is an NBA player that seems to keep it together for the most part until the off-season. Once he gets a break from all of the on court action Lamar can’t handle his life. I can really almost see how being tangled in the Kardashian money making machine would lead someone to desperately cling to vices as an escape the insanity.

Lamar knows that Khloe is certainly not going to partake with him and so that’s why we have seen him surrounded by strippers, groupies and whomever else will indulge in the debauchery with him. Perhaps this is why Khloe has had a PI tailing Lamar on and off for months- she feared him winding up dead in a crack house somewhere. She also can almost forgive his string of ho’s because in her mind they are a symptom of Lamar’s real problem- drug addiction.

Apparently the Kardashian klan had one more intervention this week to try and get Lamar to agree to rehab and when it failed the remainder of his belongings were tossed in the trunk of his car at a gas station. Maybe Lamar knows best and it’s not rehab that he needs, but to get away from this famewhoring family once and for all. He has admitted to hating the whole reality tv industry and maybe Lamar believes that is he walks away willingly from Khloe and the cameras then he won’t even care to party the way that he has been.

In the meantime it looks like a divorce is imminent because if they truly have hit a stalemate then it may already be over with. Do you believe that drugs are at the root of Lamar’s bad behavior or does the timing of this news without a hit of previous speculation seem a little too convenient?
