Tonight on FOX their new mystery-adventure drama SLEEPY HOLLOW continues with a new episode called, “Blood Moon.” On tonight’s show despite all odds, Officer ANDY BROOKS (John Cho) is back and on a questionable mission of his own. On last week’s show after being resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time, Ichabod Crane found himself in modern-day Sleepy Hollow, where he quickly realized that evil had awoken with him. When Sheriff August Corbin was killed by the infamous Headless Horseman, Ichabod formed an unlikely bond with Detective Abbie Mills, a young cop who has her own childhood supernatural experiences. Together, the two embarked on a mission to stop evil and uncover mysteries dating back to the founding of our country. Captain Frank Irving hesitated to believe Ichabod’s tales of supernatural evil. But when Ichabod’s former wife, Katrina, provided clues about impending evil, they all began to realize that this town is anything but sleepy.
On tonight’s show still adjusting to his 21st century reality, ICHABOD CRANE (Tom Mison) and Det. ABBIE MILLS (Nicole Beharie) move forward in their mission to unravel the mysteries lurking in Sleepy Hollow. A frightful vision from Ichabod’s former wife, KATRINA (Katia Winter), sends the unlikely duo on the hunt for a vengeful witch from the 1700s who has been awoken by unknown evils and is on a path of destruction in the quaint town. Meanwhile, despite all odds, Officer ANDY BROOKS (John Cho) is back and on a questionable mission of his own.

Abbie appears at Ichabod’s front door, he questions his freedom due to him being guarded within the room he’s staying in. Ichabod speaks to Abbie about Katrine warning him about the horsemen, and reveals that the first dark spirit needs entry into this world. Abbie shows doubt in the entire story Ichabod has shared with her about him coming from the past to save the world, Abbie does this to defend her sanity. Ichabod then mentions that evil has found a new home if what his wife Katrina’s warnings are proven to be real. It cuts to a body fidgeting on a table, it’s Andy who’s come back to life with his neck completely snapped backwards, the demon appears and continues to talk to him and snaps his neck back into place, Andy then pulls out a medallion out of his mouth which is needed to release a certain evil.
Abbie and Ichabod are in the police car talking about Katrina in his dreams, Ichabod then speaks about the cost of a meal and how different it is compared to his time. Ichabod then goes on about how he thinks that his wife Katrina has protected the good of the world and that he and Abbie must do something. Abbie then mentions about sending him back to the asylum, Andy is back and gets into a police car, driving off. Abbie goes with Ichabod to the funeral of her partner who got killed by the headless horseman. Abbie has flash backs of her partner and his death, Ichabod then speaks to the grave of his wife wondering to himself what she meant. Ichabod then catches on to the words she’s one of us, solving that the witch is a person among them. Andy is back at the grave with the medallion, placing it on top of a tomb. Andy looks around and notices the medallion steaming and then bursting into flames; then appears what seems to be burnt corpse of a woman who needs the flesh of others to have a complete resurrection. It cuts to a man driving a car, he’s stopped by the sheriff who’s Andy, the man questions his ticket and asks about Andy’s neck. Andy asks for the man’s name which is Jeremy. Andy tells Jeremy that what’s about to happen isn’t anything personal, Jeremy then tries to start his car with no success, his car starts going crazy, the radio is messing up and the lights are flickering, we see burnt corpse lady appear then disappear. She then jumps on the front of the car and blows it up on the inside killing Jeremy. Ichabod are walking in the Police station talking about the witches, Abbie doesn’t know how to explain people to look for witch. Ichabod doesn’t understand why Abbie is doubting what she sees. Ichabod then talks about her partner saying that he was more than that to Abbie, he noticed it due to the look she had on her face at the funeral and asks for her help to understand. Abbie then goes on to talk about the demon in the forest she saw between the four white trees, mentioning how her sister was put into the mental institution and how she did drugs and stole things. It then cuts to a flashback of Abbie and her used to be partner in the past and how they met, how her partner helped her change her life. Hinting that Abbie saw him more like a father, then there’s a call for recent activity to Abbie. Abbie arrives to the scene and asks what happened, the fireman explains that the man is Jeremy Firth. Ichabod investigates the scene of the crime, he doesn’t believe that this was a freak accident of some sort and knows who has committed the crime.
Abbie asks Ichabod how does he know who caused this, Ichabod then goes off telling a story about the past about how his men was reduced to ash and during it he sensed a presence, also he saw something that gave him chills. He believes that it’s a sorceress that used to be in the past, that she is the evil sorceress out of the two who’ve come to the present. Abbie then leaves to look for something, a cop from the station talks to Ichabod and asks about him. Abbie then returns and you can notice that she and that cop have a past with each other, Ichabod questions it and finds out that cop was Abbie’s ex. Ichabod brings Abbie to the basement and they both talk more about her and her ex. Abbie wants to Ichabod to stop and mentions that it’s her private business. Ichabod s trying to show Abbie something, but it’s hidden behind a wall. Ichabod goes and gets a weapon to break the wall which reveals a secret passage. Abbie and Ichabod both enter the passage, it’s a secret tunnel that was used back in his time to transport ammunition and supplies, they begin to explore the secret passage.
They continue to explore the secret passage, Ichabod explains how his wife Katrina’s remains were never found. Ichabod finds gunpowder and Abbie questions if it has an expiration date. They find a ladder and climb up it, leading them to a door which they go through bringing them to a room full of newspaper articles, and the history of Sleepy Hollows, they find Corbin’s files within the room. Two kids are seen kicking a ball, the ball rolls towards Andy’s way and tells the kid how would he feel if his parents found out he was ran over and should be more safe. Andy asks the kid for his name and then apologizes to him for him having the name of Kyle. Ichabod talks about Abadon which is the language of the gypsies, revealing that he’s got photographic memory they learn more about the witch. It shows flashbacks of the witch and how she was caught, then burnt alive. Abbie asks for the name of the man who order her to be burnt and he had the same last name as Jeremy, they find out that the witch is planning to kill people who are related to those who burnt her in the past. Abbie and Ichabod are on their way to the child named Kyle’s house in order to save him from the witch, we see Kyle leave his room to look for his mom, he looks in his mother’s room but doesn’t see her, so he proceeds to go down stairs calling out for his mom. He slowly goes down the stairs and enters looks outside the front door, behind him we see a glimpse of the witch.
We see a woman bathing, but she is startled due to a scream which comes from Kyle. We see Kyle being gripped by the neck from the witch, Abbie and Ichabod appear and made it to the house in time. The witch is no where to be found and Kyle keeps mentioning how the women was on fire. The women reveals that her husband was the last of the descendant she was looking for, Ichabod then tells Abbie that they need to burn the witch in order to defeat her. Ichabod finds out that her witch’s bones are burried in the tunnels and that is where she’ll need to go to revive herself. Andy is seen digging inside the tunnels looking for the remains of the witch, Andy digs out what is the remains of the witch, their interrupted due to Ichabod and Abbie coming down into the tunnels, though they didn’t make it in time. The witch is still nearby Abbie gives a gun to Ichabod and they split up to look for the witch, while Abbie is searching we see Andy behind her but he disappears once Abbie looks back. The witch is commencing with the ritual to bring herself back to life, Abbie is till searching for the witch in the mean time. The witch is almost done with the ritual, and is slowly coming back to life; Ichabod sees the transformation before his eyes.
Ichabod stumbles upon the witch who is now revived to her former self, the ritual was successful. Ichabod and Abbie end up running away from the witch, the witch speaks in different language speaking about Ichabod’s wife Katrina. Ichabod and Abbie run further, Ichabod throws the torch in order to burn the witch, it looks like it didn’t work but his plan then succeeds and the witch is blown up. Ichabod saves the day with a torch and some gunpowder, Ichabod and Abbie make it back to the police station. Ichabod talks about freeing his wife Katrina, Abbie wants everything to go back to how it is but Ichabod let’s her know that there’s no way in doing that. That they should stick together throughout the journey and offers Abbie coffee. Abbie is staring at the door of her partner. Abbie enters the room and sees her partner sitting at his desk, she believes it’s his spirit haunting her. Abbie talks to her former partner, about why he never spoke to her about the mystery in Sleepy Hollow. Abbie admits to being afraid and angry about the situation, her partner tries to make her realize what she’s meant to do. Abbie says she misses her old partner, he then says don’t be afraid of number 49. Ichabod asks if Abbie is alright, the room was completely empty where she was talking to her partner in. We see Abbie’s sister doing push ups within the asylum, she’s given pills, but she hides them and crushes them when the nurse leaves. Abbie’s sister then stares at a newspaper and then proceeds to do more exercise, she’s interrupted by something unknown.
