Daphne has taken the daunting task of teaching Jace to swim. She has him floating but gets distracted by Senator Chip. The Senator is still out flirting but this time not with Kathryn. Even the sight of him, after what he did to her friend, makes Daphne angry. So much so she almost let’s Jace drown.

The two are leaving the country club when Daphne runs into her friend Parker. Parker is in tears because she was just rejected by Senator Chip. Chip is blaming her for getting pregnant.

Angelo is worried about meeting the adoptive parents of his baby daughter. He needs some moral support and Regina suggests he takes Bae with him. That is if she ever leaves Ty’s side now that the two are having sex now. She turns down his offer because she already had a date planned. Later as she’s meeting Ty, she explains what Angelo is doing. Ty understands where she needs to be and he’s able to talk her into changing her mind. If Angelo doesn’t get the baby back then this is the only time Bae will ever get to see her sister.

Daphne doesn’t intend to reveal information but Jace manages to guess the truth. He wants to run the story and Daphne doesn’t. She explains she’s been in a similar situation and that’s why she knows how Parker feels. Jace wants to get judgy until Daphne puts a stop to it.
Regina is out with Emmett’s mom helping her take picture for an online dating profile when the conversation turn towards Regina’s own love life. The real reason Regina was trying to distance herself from the trip is because she’s fearful that Angelo has it in his head they’ll be raising the baby. One part of her knows it’s a bad idea and the other is tempted. Luckily she has Melody to try and reason with her. If only Melody had a Melody. Emmett and Travis find her dating profile. What do the two geniuses do? They set her up on a date with one of the guys. However the guy they chose isn’t so bad. Melody thinks he’s the holy grail of online dating.

Bae and Ty are riding out to meet Angelo. The make a “detour” but make it in time for Angelo to book a room for Bae while he and Ty share. Bae and Angelo meeting with the adoptive dads proves to be awkward. One of the fathers is already on the defensive and won’t want Angelo to have any part in his daughter’s life. Angelo is angry and ready to take it to court but Bae thinks he shouldn’t. She saw the baby with her dads and she doesn’t want to hurt the family Abby already has.

Toby has been talking to Simone again which is fine if he didn’t leave his cell phone out for Nickki to find. She’s worried and even goes to Daphne to get Toby’s past with Simone. Will the information help Nickki understand or only serve to worry her more? Simone had originial contacted Toby to make amends. She’s been clean for 6 months.

Although once she and Toby got to talking she convinces him to go back up onstage. Nickki walks in while he’s performing. Maybe instead of focusing on the Toby/Simone she should think about her own future. She and Toby talk after his show. He’s finally able to confront her over why she no longer cares about music. She explains things might have changed for her after the authorities found her father’s killer.

Daphne and Jace are getting themselves into trouble. After Parker’s pregnancy up and vanished, Daphne has been suspicious. Jace is the one that thought up the idea of secretly texting the senator. It wasn’t for specific reason. It was merely to scare the senator. What they didn’t expect was the senator to text them back asking what they want. With all that power comes responsibility. Jace and Daphne decide the senator should shoot down his own bill.

Melody’s date went horribly. Yet a good thing did come from it. She started to notice Emmett ignoring his dad. She could have been happy but decided to support her ex in wanting to get the cochlear. Her on the other hand will learn to accept it. Eventually. Hopefully.

THE END!
