The 2013 Toronto Shoppers Drug Mart Weekend to End Women’s Cancers – Make This Weekend Matter

The 2013 Toronto Shoppers Drug Mart Weekend to End Women's Cancers - Make This Weekend Matter

The Shoppers Drug Mart Weekend to End Women’s Cancers benefiting Princess Margaret Centre is one of the biggest women’s cancer fundraisers in history, so it’s a great privilege for us to tell you about this wonderful endeavor, which will take place in Toronto on September 7-8, 2013.  This walk offers a 1 or 2 day option and brings together a variety of people whose lives have been influenced by cancer, including survivors and, of course, those who fervently lend their support to the cause.

So how can you help? Join the 2013 Shoppers Drug Mart Weekend to End Women’s Cancers benefiting The Campbell Family Institute at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre! That’s how. Over the course of one weekend, thousands of walkers will take to the streets of Toronto, united in this historic movement to end all women’s cancers.

If you choose to participate in this stellar event, you’ll experience a new route that will let you explore a diverse world that only Toronto can offer. You might even get the chance to camp on centre field at Rogers Centre, Home of the Toronto Blue Jays! Now, does that sound like a perk or what?

Your fundraising efforts will help support state-of-the-art cancer research and, just as you can choose whether you’d like to walk 1 day or 2 days, you as the walker can choose which kind of research you’d like your funds to support: ovarian cancer research or gynecological cancer research. All proceeds will benefit programs at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one of the top five cancer research centers in the world.

So, do your part today: Make this weekend matter and REGISTER to walk today! It’s important to know that you too can play a pivotal role in the fight against cancer.
