Tonight on CBC their Emmy award winning show THE AMAZING RACE continues with a new episode. On tonight’s episode called “One Hot Camel” the second double U-turn of the season occurs. On last week’s show Teams took a joy ride in Abu Dhabi when they rappel nearly 200 feet and raced cars at gut-wrenching speeds. The teams must travel to the Al Mina Fruit and Vegetable Market then collected, sored, and arranged a variety of dates to get the next clue. At the Pit Stop Nicky & Kim were the last team to arrive, but Phil surprised them and told them that it was a non-elimination leg, they were still in the race.
On tonight’s show The race continues in Al Ain. Teams escape the desert heat in the United Arab Emirates with a rip-roaring white water rafting ride, plus the second double U-turn of the season occurs!

RECAP: Abu Dhabi’s race track is the start of the eighth leg, Leo & Jamal are the first team to leave and they must use the coins they received in Norway to figure out a Viking Coin Puzzle that will unlock their vehicle to drive themselves to the Sand Dunes; caution, there is a U-Turn ahead.
Nicole & Travis are ready for a come back on this leg as they plan to use their Express Pass. Furthermore, they plan on U-Turning Leo & Jamal if they get to it first.
At the dunes, Leo & Jamal are still in the lead and now must get themselves to Al Ain Oasis; they high five when they realize that Nicole & Travis are stuck in the sand dunes.
Nicky & Kim are enjoying the dune tide, until they get stuck and have to get out of the vehicle and dig themselves out. Ally & Ashley finish quickly and they are on their way. Travis & Nicole are the first team to arrive, with Leo & Jamal quickly behind them. It’s Detour, teams must choose between preparing a wedding feast or a beauty contest.
For the wedding feast, they have to prepare a ceremonial dish for wedding guests. For the beauty contest, they must pick a champion out of the camel beauty queens and present their winner to a panel of judges.
Nicole & Travis use the Express Pass and skip the Detour. Nicole & Travis are the first team to arrive at the U-Turn, they pick Leo & Jamal. They must now head to Wadi Adventure and find their next clue.
Nicky & Kim, Ally & Ashley are behind and the last two teams to arrive at the Detour. Meanwhile, Leo & Jamal are preparing the wedding feast while Tim & Marie are looking for their beauty queen. Jason & Amy are busy trying to find their camel as well, while Tim & Marie fail at their first attempt.
Nicole & Travis have arrived at the Road Block where one team mate must Ride The Rapids while they try to grab colored flags.
Tim & Marie have finished grooming their beauty queen and get their next clue, they must now find Al Jihali Tower. Leo & Jamal see that Tim & Marie finished the Detour quickly and change their detour. Leo & Jamal finish and head to the tower, they see that they have been u-turned and head back to prepare the wedding feast as well.
Jason & Amy arrive at the U-turn, they decide not to u-turn anyone.
Nicole & Travis have finished riding the rapids and must now drive themselves to the top of Jebel Hafeet.
Nicole & Travis are the first team to arrive at the Pit Stop and they have each won a choice of any vehicle in the Ford lineup. They tell Phil that their u-turning Leo & Jamal was there way to tell them that they are running the race in an honest way.
Tim & Marie finally arrive at the tower and decide to u-turn Nicky & Kim because they feel that they cut in line in a previous leg at the airport.
Ally & Ashley quickly find their beauty queen and head to the tower where they are shocked that Leo & Jamal are being targeted again. Tim & Marie have arrived at the rapids, they are in 3rd place so far.
Leo & Jamal have finished their wedding feast and receive their next clue, they are heading to the tower again, then the rapids; there is nothing holding these two back. Nicky & Kim are finished the wedding feast only to find out that they have been u-turned and must head back to find a beauty queen, but it doesn’t take them long and they are on their way to the rapids.
Jason & Amy are team number two at the Pit Stop, Tim & Marie are team number three.
Nicky & Kim arrived last in leg and must therefore now complete a Speed Bump where they have to swim across a man made pool to a ladder to get out of the pool while six foot waves hit them.
Leo & Jamal are finished at the rapids and now head to the Pit Stop, they are team number four. Ally & Ashley are team number five at the Pit Stop, while Nicky & Kim arrive in last place and are eliminated from the race.
