'The Walking Dead' Season 4 Sneak Peek & Spoilers: Is Rick a Dead Man?

All right, Walking Dead fans, we’ve got some super-gossip-spoilage for you. The amount of rumor and gossip surrounding season 4 of The Walking Dead is quite staggering, and that just goes to show how popular this show is in contemporary television culture. If spoilers make you ill, then you best turn away now and divert your attention elsewhere, because we can’t waste any time in divulging these juicy details!

People have been discussing poor main character Rick’s fate forever now it seems. The creator of the graphic novel and producer of the show, Robert Kirkman, revealed during a chat on an AMC blog that the killing off of Rick Grimes is definitely not outside the realms of possibility.

Here’s what he had to say: “Yes, absolutely. We’ve been saying that no one is safe on this show, and I wouldn’t rule out seeing the death of Rick Grimes at almost any point. We really like to keep people guessing, and I could definitely see some interesting stories coming from that. While Rick has been a pretty solid leader, he’s definitely made his share of mistakes. I think seeing Daryl or Maggie or Glenn picking up a larger leadership role in the group could pose some interesting story possibilities.”

New casting info has also surfaced: “The renamed cast member will play a traumatized medic that is very dangerous, complex, and disturbed. In the “Walking Dead” graphic novel, his family is ravaged by zombies and his retaliation is described as more volatile and scary than The Governor’s wrath in the end of season three.”

Supposedly Beth (Emily Kinney), Tyreese (Chad Coleman), and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) have all been given the greenlight to return as full cast members during season 4. Not too shabby. Oh, and did we forget to mention the Governor? He’ll be coming back as well. So, yeah, best prepare yourselves for that.
