VICTOR ORTIZ danced a PASO DOBLE, on the fourth episode of Dancing with the Stars: 2013 performance show tonight. Each couple will dance to a song of the celebrities’ choosing that represents a memorable time or experience in their life. In addition, each celebrity is challenged to perform a brief solo during their performance. If you missed the show, we recapped tonight’s show for you and if you want to see how all the couples did go HERE!
“The Best Year of My Life” themed show is a fan favorite that serves to separate the contenders from the pretenders. The dancers can show a personal aspect that can either inspire the performance or emotionally overwhelm the star and judges.
Boxer Victor Ortiz drew the Paso Doble, which is all about aggression. This should be his best dance because boxers are all about aggression.
Judges’ Comments: Bruno said, “Victor you definitely punched the living daylights out of the Paso Doble. But you are suppose to dance it, not destroy it. You missed your footwork.” Carrie Ann said, “Victor when you dance I love what comes out, I love it. You have to learn to work on your arms, you have to expand them. This round went to the Paso Doble.” Len said, “I admire your spirit and determination. The Paso Doble needed a little more refinement. You gave it your all!”
