Michelle Rodriguez is one of the hottest actresses in the world. The actress rose to fame in the first Fast and the Furious film playing Letty Ortiz. Her Latin beauty, mixed with her subtle “bad girl” idiosyncrasies, made her the poster child for post-millennium femininity. Unfortunately, Rodriguez’s career went into hibernation since then. A couple of small, typecast supporting roles kept her in the spotlight long enough to still be remembered, but Rodriquez soon turned into a “what’s-her-name-again” celebrity.
The 35-year-old star stepped into the extremely faint spotlight again when she came out as bisexual during an interview with Entertainment Weekly last year October. “I’ve gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too f**king curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks,” said Rodriguez.
It was also revealed that she was in a relationship with supermodel Cara Delevingne at the time. The two were spotted in March this year sharing an intimate kiss after vacationing in Mexico. Several weeks later, Delevingne, 21, was photographed topless in Cancun, but instead of a smile and a wave, the supermodel took to Twitter and lambasted the paparazzi for disrespecting her privacy.
“Please remember that it is so important to not care what other people think unless you truly value there opinion, it only gets in the way!” Another Tweet read, “Also you have no idea how valuable privacy is until you lose [sic] it!!!”
Unfortunately, all good things eventually come to an end. TMZ recently caught Delevingne in a lip-lock with Karlie Kloss, a fellow Victoria’s Secret model. It is similar to a cheesy episode of Cheaters, but we refuse to use Schadenfreude at Celeb Dirty Laundry — joking!
Following on the heels of friend and colleague Paul Walker’s death, a break-up might be a final death blow to the typecast Rodriguez.
The actress likes to unravel every now and then. She was arrested for assaulting her roommate in 2002 and in November of 2003, Rodriguez appeared in court for eight misdemeanours including hit-and-run and DUI charges.
Don’t worry too much about it, Michelle. There’s always Kelly Clarkson albums to get you through the Gladys Knight break-up nights.
