Carmen Ortega was allegedly acting as an escort in NYC this past week but in fact CDL has exclusively learned that she was in the city handling legal matters and the escorting stories are simply not true. According to false reports an escort ad went up on Eros-NY before Carmen allegedly checked herself into The Dream Hotel under the alias Karmin Kardashine. A poster over at The Dirty claimed that they booked her for two hours of solid fun and that she’s in town until Jan. 18th. He suggested everyone hurry up and set up their play date as well.
We spoke to Carmen’s legal rep who told CDL exclusively that Carmen is not escorting in NYC and that all parts of the story are false. Carmen’s legal rep provided the following statement to CDL:
Contrary to false reports by someone acting as my client Carmen Ortega, my client is presently in New York City handling legal matters after being assaulted by her now ex-boyfriend. She is presently in protective custody and going through the legal system and is not staying at any hotel. We are presently seeking legal action against the website “The Dirty” for a 100 percent inaccurate and defamatory report against Ms. Ortega. My client’s safety and well being is the most important thing I’m concerned with at this time. Attached are copies of the original legal filing on December 24.
