Teresa Giuidice Asks Judge To Move Fraud Trial Forward To Coincide With Filming of The Real Housewives of New Jersey

Teresa Giudice and her husband Juicy Joe may be heading back to court very soon. Radar Online is reporting the stars of Real Housewives of New Jersey want their April pre-trial hearing to happen as soon as possible. Of course they are.  The parasitic producers of RHONJ want to get every possible detail of the Giudice’s trial filmed for the next season of the show.

Tre and Juicy, who are accused of 41 counts of fraud, asked the court for separate trials based on marital privilege. They were denied their request. The Giudices are hoping to speak to Judge Esther Salas again to try to change her mind. A letter to the court said “As of now, the motions’ potential impact on the trial schedule, we respectfully ask the Court to consider moving up the hearing on pretrial motions to the earliest time convenient for the Court to hear the motions and render a decision.

I think the court’s decision is based on more than the law. Clearly the judge is not impressed that Teresa is the most popular woman in the Housewives franchise. She is sending a clear message that no one is above the law. But the joke is on Judge Salas. The pre-trial publicity keeps the public interested in Teresa. It also has fans of her show salivating for the new season.

As I’ve said before Teresa’s popularity has not waned in the wake of her legal trouble. She launched a new coffee drink this month that is selling well. The dinner party where she flipped a table at cast member Danielle Staub was rated number one out of ten on the new Bravo special Top Ten Dinners from Hell. Tre had very stiff competition from (especially from the Beverly Hills cast) and she came out on top.
