An all new episode of The Mentalist is set to air on CBS on Sunday, March 16th. CBS has released the official synopsis for Season 6 Episode 14 titled “Grey Water,” and it looks like a must-see episode for Mentalist fans.
According to the official episode summary for The Mentalists’ fourteenth episode, “Jane and Fischer are going to investigate a murder at an oil fracking site, while Rigsby and Van Pelt travel to Austin to help investigate suspects in a string of attacks on former CBI team members.”
A large majority of loyal Mentalist fans were growing tired of the Red John storyline, and just wanted Patrick Jane to get back to solving different crimes every episode. Since Red John’s capture Mentalist fans are getting their wish and Jane is doing just that. Next Sunday on The Mentalist Patrick and FBI agent Kim Fischer head out to an oil drilling location to solve the mysterious death of an anti-fracker protestor. In the CBS’s official promo video for “Grey Water,” Patrick is discussing the protestor’s death with one of the oil drill workers and he jokes, “Well you are ‘Big Oil’ and you do whatever you want.”
Meanwhile Special Agents Rigsby and Van Pelt head to Austin to investigate a recent string of attacks on fellow CBI team members. Technically Patrick Jane’s nemesis Red John is dead and gone, but we can’t help but notice the CBI attacks sound like his handiwork.
