Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo have been dealing with some pretty ugly divorce rumors although Levine has denied there is trouble in his marriage. According to reports Prinsloo and Levine can’t come to an agreement on when to start a family and it’s starting to put a strain on things.
The relationship rumors have stayed pretty low-key since there are already two high profile divorces on “The Voice” this season. Adam Levine and his Victoria’s Secret model wife can’t compete with Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani both divorcing their famous exes and then beginning to date each other.
It seems that is okay with the Maroon 5 singer though because he’d rather deal with his family planning issues privately.
According to a recent OK! magazine report, Behati is ready to start a family and Adam is pumping the brakes on the baby making. It seems the “Sunday Morning” singer may have promised Prinsloo the moon and the stars but when it comes to bringing new life into the world, Adam Levine isn’t sure that he’s ready to do that.
Levine is really trying to make sure his music career is stable before committing to the family life. After the current season of “The Voice” concludes, Adam has plans for a massive North American tour starting in September 2016 but only after the Latin American leg of the tour in February and March of 2016.
Levine stays busy either writing, recording or touring with Maroon 5 as well as his regular voice coach gig on “The Voice.” Behati Prinsloo has been patiently waiting for her Maroon 5 frontman husband to slow down a bit so they can work on expanding the Levine family.
Even though Adam told Behati that he wanted to have kids, he’s still just not ready yet. Right now Adam’s career and Maroon 5’s popularity are hotter than ever. Levine knows that the entertainment industry is fickle and he needs to ride that wave until it dies.
Prinsloo sees things differently though and wants to hurry up and get pregnant now while Adam is around. Once Levine gets back out on the road, who knows when Behati will have a chance to possibly get pregnant.
All the stress that Behati is putting on Adam to start growing their family is putting pressure on their relationship.
