Tonight on NBC America’s Got Talent returns with an all new Wednesday August 12, Season 10 episode 14 called “Live Results 1”. We’ve got your recap down below! On tonight’s episode seven acts advance in a results episode.
On the last episode, after hundreds of acts auditioned for the chance to win the $1 million prize, the competition was down to just 36 acts. Twelve performers took the stage of Radio City Music Hall tonight and judging was turned over to the American viewing audience. Did you watch the episode? On tonight’s episode per the NBC synopsis “the votes are in and seven acts from the previous night’s show will move on to the semi-final round of competition. Tonight, viewers will have one last chance to send their favorite performer to the next round by using Google Instant Save.”

#AGT10 the results show starts with Omi performing cheerleader then a look back at last night’s acts. Mel B says there was so much talent on stage last night and wishes them all luck. Seven will move on to the semi-finals and five will go home tonight. There are three acts that are on the bubble and that may go home tonight but that can be saved via a live save. Those are:
Alondra Santos
Samantha Johnson
The Gentlemen

Now Nick Cannon has the first result of the night. Piff the Magic Dragon and Triple Threat step forward for their results. Piff moves forward and the boy band wannabes are kicked to the curb. Piff says it feels pretty good and says Mr Piffles is over the moon. Howie says from the moment Piff came on the stage, he feel in love with him and so did America. He says it’s all about his character.
Next is Vita Radionova and Benton Blount step forward. It’s the contortionist versus the soulful singer. America is sending forward Benton Blount. He says it’s awesome to have so many people supporting him. Heidi says he brings so much emotions to his songs and is a real guy and congratulates him and says it’s well-deserved.
Next we see a look at previous winners including Mat Franco, Recycled Percussion, Terry Fator, Iluminate, Emily West, Lindsey Stirling, and Jackie Evancho. Next is a performance by last year’s AGT winner Mat Franco.
Back from the break, the next results involve Siro-A and Craig and Michelene. It’s two dancing acts. America decided to put through Siro-A. Their director says it’s so amazing and thanks everyone. Howard says she might be short on words but she’s big on talent and says every time they come out you don’t know what to expect and it’s originals. He says they deserve it and have put in the hard work.
Next up is Paul Zerdin and Showproject and Drew Lynch. Of the three, only Paul Zerdin moves forward. Then Nick Cannon tells the other two to stay put. Paul says he’s so grateful and has so much more to show them. Mel B says America got it right and says he’s a true pro and he grabs the audience and his puppet is lovely. Paul says he’ll tell him.
Nick Cannon then says there’s still Drew Lynch and Showproject and says one of them is going through and one is going home. America voted for Drew Lynch. Howie is on his feet instantly. He says it’s crazy and says each of those guys have a better body than him and says they look like they bench press each other and he didn’t know he could compete with them and thanks them. Howie says when he comes on the stage, he talks about disability but it doesn’t apply to him, but it’s “this ability” and says he’s amazing. Howie says he loves him and he’s brilliant.
Alondra Santos, Samantha Johnson and The Gentlemen are on the stage for the live Dunkin’ Save vote. America chose an instant save for Samantha Johnson. Samantha says it feels good and tearfully thanks them for saving her. Howard thanks America for voting for her and says he doesn’t know what he would have done if she hadn’t gone through. He says she was okay the first two times but she really stepped it up to brilliant last night.
Alondra Santos and The Gentlemen are the last two acts and the judges will decide which of them goes through. Heidi chooses Alondra. Mel B chooses Alondra. Howie chooses The Gentlemen. Howard chooses Alondra. That sends Alondra forward and sends the The Gentlemen home. Next week is more performances and live results.
