The birth announcement is a bright spot among Bobbi Kristina’s condition, a deathbed photo being shopped around, and a Brown family feud that is taking its toll on Bobby Brown. Hopefully Bobby Brown will be a much better parent to his new daughter than he was to Bobbi Kristina Brown.
On Friday, Bobby’s wife was admitted to Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles and induced on Saturday. Etheredge gave birth to Bobby’s sixth child, a baby girl, Entertainment Tonight confirmed. This is Brown’s sixth child, but only his second child with Alicia. The couple also have a five-year-old son, Cassius. No name for Bobby and Alicia’s baby girl has been released.
The happy news of Brown’s baby girl comes as Bobbi Kristina spends her final days in hospice. Bobby had moved his daughter with Whitney Houston to hospice after flying her to Chicago where experts in brain trauma confirmed that Bobbi Kristina Brown had no chance of recovery, according to People. From there, Bobbi was relocated to hospice and removed from all life support meds. Basically, the family is finally letting go.
However, shortly after Bobbi was moved, family and friends began pouring in to see Bobbi Kristina one last time and say goodbye. TMZ then reported that an image of Bobbi Kristina Brown on her deathbed was being shopped around. ET followed, confirming that an “unseemly” Bobbi Kristina deathbed photo was offered to them for $100,000. The exploitation of Bobbi Kristina’s death was made worse by the rumor that the picture was taken and being sold by a family member, according to TMZ.
Soon after the news of the incredibly tasteless photo, the Brown family was banned from seeing Bobbi in hospice. While no one has confirmed a member of the Brown family is the culprit, it certainly looks that way. Leolah Brown, Bobby’s sister, quickly responded to the ban by posting a long Facebook message claiming the Brown family was not responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s deathbed pic.
The Brown family feud, Bobbi Kristina’s condition, and all the stress must be getting to Bobby Brown. During a performance on July 4, Bobby forgot the lyrics to one of his songs. Brown apologized, telling the audience he was in a “different zone” as he tried to recollect himself People shared. To get through the concert, Bobby left the stage several times to hug his brother and regroup.
