Bobbi Kristina Brown is still on life support and shows no sign of waking up or opening her eyes, despite the bogus claims (wishful thinking?) of her dad and aunt over the weekend. On Sunday, April 19, Bobby Brown made a statement to a crowd of fans during a concert at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas. – “Bobbi is awake.” Fans thundered with applause and shouts of support before Bobby added, “She is watching me.” Aunt Tina Brown added her confirmation that Bobbi Kristina Brown woke up from her coma with a statement via Facebook, but all this could be the Brown family twisting the truth to save the $20 million inheritance, as Bobbi reportedly remains on life support. People claim a source close to the Houston family told them poor Bobbi Kristina remains on life support just like she’s been for months.
Tina clarified Bobby’s claim writing, “So many messages, sorry can’t answer them all right now but I will get to them later..just allow me this time with my family,,yes,she woke up and is no longer on life support!!!!!:):) God is good!! thanks for your prayers,,still a process,but she is going to be ok:):):):).”
Some deciphered Bobby’s claims as a spiritual message, while others felt it was a literal statement. Tina Brown’s confirmation is far more clear and concise, but according to an insider who spoke with People, Bobby and Tina are lying. “As far as I know, there’s been no change,” the source countered. Calls made by several media outlets, all went unanswered and no one has been able to an official confirmation on whether or not Bobbi Kristina Brown is truly awake from her coma.
Bobbi has been in a coma since she was found on January 31, face down in her bathtub. There has been no changes beyond the fluttering of her eyelids, which is normal in many coma cases. Attempts to remove Bobbi Kristina from unconsciousness resulted in violent seizures and forced Bobby to put her back into the medically induced coma.
Last week, on April 11, Bobby Brown made his first public appearance and told the crowd he was giving the decision of Bobbi’s fate to God, “and letting him deal with it.” Cissy Houston, also told a New York radio station there was very little hope, and there had been no changes. Oddly enough, Cissy also added she was “alright” if Bobbi Kristina dies.
Pat and Cissy Houston (along with Whitney’s two brothers) stand to inherit whatever is left of the $20 million estate Whitney Houston left to her only child, Bobbi. If Bobbi Kristina dies, the money will be passed onto Pat and Cissy, along with Whitney’s surviving brothers. It all sounds like a case of greedy family members who might have a conflict of interest over keeping Bobbi Kristina alive on life support.
Perhaps, Bobby Brown’s claim Bobbi Kristina is awake was move to protect his daughter from Pat and Cissy Houston’s constant pushes to remove her from life support. If Bobbi survives, Pat and Cissy won’t get a dime. Evidence of foul play was also found when cops arrived at the scene of Bobbi’s drowning incident. Maybe Bobby’s claim is an attempt to flush the truth from Nick Gordon?

Update: Cissy Houston’s greed for the $20 million appeards blatant and shocking. Bobbi Kristina’s own grandmother went to E! News to try and justify why she wants Bobbi taken off the ventilator which provides life support!
“I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive. Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me,” Cissy added. “We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time. Keep us in your prayers.”
Notice what saddens Cissy – not that her granddaughter is ruined but that Bobbi can live on for a lifetime in this condition! What is Cissy’s rush for Bobbi to be taken off life support? Why can’t she just be patient like Bobbi’s father and hope that somehow the young woman comes to, miraculously recovers? Doctors have no way of being 100% certain that Bobbi will never awaken and in any case the poor girl is resting peacefully. What’s the rush Cissy???
