The murder of Louie Becker has been on everyone’s mind lately. And Carmen, for one, is sick of it. She’s tired of her friends focusing on what happened to Blanca and other even more depressing news just always seem to be around the corner. Such as what happened to the Powells.

So what’s Carmen reaction to all of this? Does she cope with these traumatic events like an adult? No! Instead she goes and gets herself engaged to Sebastien even though there’s never been a point in their relationship where she’s been sure if he loves her or if she loves him.

Thus her engagement is ridiculous way of avoiding her problems and Marisol was the only one willing to tell Carmen that. But Carmen did not want to listen to her friend. Who she accused, by the way, of being jealous of her happiness. So Carmen flounced out of Marisol’s place and then set out to make her relationship with Sebastian work – most likely against her better judgement.

And Sebastien was, on more than one level, not worth it.

He couldn’t sell the Powells’ home because Adrian had called off the sale the moment he realized his wife would divorce him if she got half off the profits. So, technically, Sebastien didn’t have all the funds he needed to set Carmen up like he promised. And Sebastien failed to mention that he had women still coming by the house claiming to be his fitness instructor while wearing skimpy clothing.

So, all in all, was someone not to be trusted and Carmen finally did some snooping in order to figure out who she was marrying. And what she found, over the course of her investigation, was Blanca’s dress. The one Carmen had lent the other woman on the same night she had gone missing.

Meaning Sebastien is not only the killer they have been looking but he was also Taylor’s secret lover.

And unfortunately Marisol realized that for herself when it was too late. She had tried to talk Taylor about the blood at the woman’s house and when that didn’t work she then sought out Taylor’s husband. So it was Michael that filled her on a few things. One of being that he had asked Louie to spy on his wife for him.

But Michael couldn’t delve further into the details because Taylor had called the cops and had begun claiming that he was the one that had gone on the killing spree. Apparently Michael had been keeping her from seeing Katy so this was Taylor’s way of getting her daughter back. And with Michael later getting arrested, and was thus out of the way, Taylor finally had the opportunity to flee the state with her daughter.

An opportunity that Marisol could have quash with one phone call to the police. So she had Taylor and Taylor knew it.

And that’s how Marisol found out who Taylor had been sleeping with it. Though by then, it was a little too late for everyone involved. Sebastien had taken Carmen hostage and because he needed money to escape – he went over to the Powells where he ran into Marisol.

Marisol had gone there looking for her friend and she wounded getting taken hostage along with three other people.

And if things weren’t complicated enough, Adrian had to call the newly released Michael who was also his lawyer to come by drop off some money at the house.

Michael walked up to the front door with a bag of cash and when things didn’t feel right – he refused to leave until he knew what was going on. And that all did was heightened an already fraught situation. Which in this case and with this villain was a terrible mistake.

See, what’s become apparent about Sebastien is that he doesn’t like it when things get too complicated. He killed Louie because Louie would have exposed his affair to his wife. Then he killed Blanca after the maid begun to ask too many questions.

So Sebastien hates complications and he killed Michael when he became one.

But eventually Marisol was able to get the better of Sebastien and it had looked like they were all going to escape his reign of terror. Only Sebastien had a plan and it worked even when he didn’t want it to.

Sebastien had set off the gas in the house and it was going to kill everyone inside. Yet after Marisol pulled off her maneuver, the ladies were able to escape the explosion while Adrian was nowhere to be found.

Adrian could have escaped as well but he turned back for a photo of him with Evelyn and their son. So when the explosions went off – no one knew what happened to him or how far he had gone into the house.

And as all of this was going down, Genevieve and Zoila were able to get over their rift.

The ladies had did couples’ therapy and, though that wasn’t really working out, they still wanted to keep at it. And were in fact on their way to another session when Zoila went into labor on the elevator. So Genevieve surprised her friend and stepped up when Zoila needed her.

However Zoila started to experience complications during the birth and soon it was up to Genevieve to pick who to prioritize in case of emergency.

And as for Rosie, she went on to find Spence but he had memory loss and still believed he was married to his horrible first wife.

So season three went off with a bang and literally three cliffhangers up in the air. What happened to Adrian? Is Zoila and her baby going to survive? And will Spence ultimately remember why he got divorced from the she-demon?

THE END!
