Eva Longoria and Jose Antonio Baston have announced their engagement just two years after CDL uncovered their secret relationship. The Desperate Housewives star told fans about the Dubai proposal on Instagram. Longoria looks happier than ever to be kissing her new fiance in the desert while rocking a huge new ring.
It was just over two years ago when CDL broke news that Eva Longoria was dating the President of Televisa. It looks like the Latina actress is betting that the third time is a charm as she settles in to plan marriage number three. Longoria was previously married to General Hospital actor Tyler Christopher from 2002-2004 and then spent 2007-2011 as Tony Parker’s wife before a highly publicized cheating scandal ultimately tore them apart.
Longoria and her fiance Jose Baston are currently in Dubai for the Global Gift Gala at the 2015 International Film Festival. Apparently Baston felt this was also a great time to propose to his longtime girlfriend. The Mexican media mogul took Eva on a desert camel ride and with the intent to surprise his beautiful girlfriend with a huge ring during the trip.
It looks like the romantic proposal caught Longoria completely off guard as the actress captioned her engagement announcement, “Ummmm so this happened….#Engaged #Dubai#Happiness”
Jose Baston gave Eva Longoria a huge rock which was pictured in the photo announcing Eva’s engagement to Jose. Longoria hasn’t shared a closeup of the huge sparkler yet but it looks like the main stone isn’t a diamond from a distance.
We’re guessing the gorgeous ring is centered with a big ruby but whatever it is, the price tag on Eva Longoria’s engagement ring had to be hefty. Baston is estimated to be worth $12 million. While Eva boasts a bigger bank account with $35 million net worth, her Latino media mogul fiance is doing very well for himself.
This will be the second marriage for Jose Baston, who divorced Mexican actress Natalia Esperon back in 2005. The 47-year old Baston has three children from his first marriage while 40-year old Longoria has none. Many of Eva’s fans are hoping this engagement and upcoming marriage means babies for the former Desperate Housewives star.
