George Clooney Divorce: Amal Alamuddin Too Skinny, Marriage Taking Toll - Rapid Weight Loss Worries Friends and Family?

Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney are reportedly on the verge of a divorce and the stress of the attorney’s marriage problems coupled with her grueling career are taking a toll on the new celebrity wife. On top of her stressful career and imminent divorce, Amal Alamuddin was unexpectedly thrust in to the public eye when she married Clooney – and she has had a tough time being comfortable with herself and her body, now that all eyes are on her.

According to the May 25 edition of Star Magazine, Amal’s friends and family are worried about her frail figure and rapid weight loss. A source close to George Clooney’s wife dished to the magazine, “She has always been a lean woman, but she seems to have dropped more pounds – weight she couldn’t afford to lose, since meeting George. Everyone is concerned that she is getting totally run-down between dealing with her humanitarian legal work and jet-setting with her husband.”

Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney recently stepped out together and walked the red carpet at the 2015 Met Gala. All eyes were on the famous couple, and how skinny Amal looked. Some partygoers did a double take when she seen how fragile and skinny Amal looked while she clung to George’s arm. An insider at the Met Gala revealed, “Amal’s gown was gorgeous and she kept a smile glued to her face – but she looked distractingly skinny.” George’s fellow celebrities aren’t the only ones noticing his wife’s rapid weight loss, her own family is at their wit’s end and are on step away from staging a skinny-vention and begging her to start eating.
