Tonight’s episode of Hell’s Kitchen kicks off with the Red Team back at their apartment – they’re arguing over the recent elimination ceremony and Mika being sent home. The next morning both teams head back down to the kitchen to meet with Chef Ramsay. He asks them what ingredients they think are crucial to a service – after they all guess, he announces the most important ingredient is usually cheese. There are 700 different cheeses from all over the world – Chef Ramsay has tables of Cheeses from around the world brought out by models. Gordon has a “Cheese Wheel” brought out that resembles the wheel of fortune.

During today’s competition a chef from the red team and blue team will be competing against each other to see who prepares the best cheesy dish. Nick and Monique will be battling it out over grilled cheese. Megan and Milly will be making enchiladas. Brendan and Allison are cooking croquettes. Randy and Sara are preparing lasagna. Adam and Christine are making cordon bleu. Michelle and Josh will be making manicotti. Bret and T are battling it out over calzones.

It’s time for the chefs to start preparing their cheesy dishes, they race around the tables picking out the cheeses they plan to use. Milly has never made an enchilada or ate one, but luckily the blue team helps him out and gives him some pointers. Monique decides to “Keep it simple” with the grilled cheese, and literally is just grilling a cheese sandwich with tomatoes on it. Meanwhile, Bret was confident in the competition and bragged that he has been making calzones since he was a kid – but he has a mishap in the oven and his dough is too thin and the calzone opens up while it is baking. The red team thinks that Sarah has gone nuts when they realize that she put pistachios in her lasagna.

Time is up and the chefs line up so that Ramsay can taste their dishes. Monique’s grilled cheese is an epic failure, and Nick wins. Milly and Megan’s enchiladas are up next, Megan wins. Kristine’s cordon bleu and Adam’s are a tie and they both receive a point. Michelle’s manicotti and Adam’s are also ties and they both receive a point. Up next is Brendan and Allison’s croquettes, Alison wins because Brendan cooked the wrong dish. Randy and Sarah’s lasagnas are up, Sarah’s nuts don’t impress Chef Ramsay and he gives the point to Randy. Bret and T’s dishes are the final ones to be judges, after careful consideration Chef Ramsay decides that T’s dish is the winner and the Red Team has won another competition.

Chef Ramsay announces that since the Red Team won the competition, they have won a day on the ocean in Marina Del Rey going jet-skiing. The Blue Team is devastated, they have lost so many competitions – they feel like they haven’t seen the son in weeks. Ramsay announces that while the women are in Marina Del Rey, the men will have to stay behind and work in the kitchen. While the women spend the afternoon soaking up the sun in Marina Del Rey and jet-skiing, the blue team spends the entire day grating an enormous wheel of parmesan cheese.

It’s time for the next dinner service, Chef Ramsay give the red team and the blue team a pep talk before dinner begins, he says he wants to see leadership emerge in the kitchen. The kitchen is open and the orders begin rolling in. Sarah is off to a bumpy start when she tries to serve a dish that is missing half of the ingredients – Megan catches her and fixes it before it is served to guests. In the blue team’s kitchen Adam has already ruined an order of risotto and Chef Ramsay is not impressed. Monique isn’t fairing much better in the red kitchen and the other chefs are shouting at her because she is not preparing the spinach correctly.

The blue kitchen gets all of their appetizers out and begins working on the main courses. Bret gets shouted at by Chef Ramsay because he tried to serve soggy and over-cooked salmon. Monique is in charge of garnishes, and she is killing their service with her slow cooking and raw eggplants. The red team makes a rookie mistake and tries to serve raw salmon – he drags them all in to the cooler and tells them that if they make one more mistake, they are being kicked out of the kitchen. Brendan is struggling with the lambs in the blue kitchen – they are not cooking and are taking over 15 minutes to be done. Chef Ramsay screams at them that he asked them for leaders, he heads back to the red kitchen and they are trying to serve burnt salmon. Chef Ramsay has had enough – he screams at them to get out of his kitchen.

While the girls are upstairs they begin arguing over who they are putting up for elimination while the blue team finishes up the service. When dinner is over the red team and blue team head back down to the kitchen for the elimination ceremony. The red team nominated Monique and Sarah for elimination.

After careful consideration Chef Ramsay announces that Monique is officially eliminated and out of the competition.
