It’s no secret Kate Middleton is already making plans for a third royal baby. However, if rumors are true, her third pregnancy plans have hit a snag. Prince William fears pregnancy complications and another round of post-partum depression. The Duke of Cambridge is hesitant when it comes to having a third baby with the Duchess, and might even be worried Kate’s rush to get pregnant again may be for the wrong reasons.
The Duchess of Cambridge is currently 33, and has had a long-standing plan to have 3 children by the time she is 35. Royal insiders and those close to Kate and William all agreed that Princess Charlotte wouldn’t be the last child the royal couple had. India Hicks, cousin of Prince Charles, assured People, Charlotte wouldn’t be the last of Kate and William’s children.
Prince William may be changing his mind. Thanks to Kate suffering through hyperemesis gravidarum, a serious morning sickness condition, William might be concerned with the Duchess’ health. Most doctors suggest that women who become pregnant in their 30s are more likely to have complications. Being that Kate Middleton has a history of severe morning sickness, it makes the rest greater.
In addition to Kate’s increased pregnancy risks, rumors of her post-partum depression might also be a concern. As we reported, Prince William was allegedly concerned for the Duchess after giving birth to both Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Kate was said to have battled the baby blues after the initial birth and excitement of royal baby fever waned. The Duchess of Cambridge also might have gone to extreme lengths to regain her post-baby body so quickly. If Kate Middleton’s health issues weren’t concern enough for Prince William, her motivations for third royal baby might be an issue. Currently, the Middletons are feuding with Queen Elizabeth. The monarch has allegedly dubbed Kate “Duchess of Do Little” and bemoans her lazy attitude in private royal circles according to the Daily Mail. Beyond her “lazy” attitude, Carole Middleton might have overstepped boundaries when trying to bend royal protocol. Kate’s mother successfully implanted herself as matriarch of Anmer Hall and a main influence in the lives of Kate, William, George, and Charlotte. But, Queen Elizabeth sent a clear message when she snubbed Prince George’s second birthday party. Perhaps fearing further retaliation, including being financially cut off, Kate might be pushing her plans for a third pregnancy to happen sooner rather than later.
Prince William has his hands full whatever the outcome of Kate’s third pregnancy plans. The Duke usually tows the line when it comes to giving Kate what she wants. Maybe out of guilt? That sexy new co-worker of his and history of philandering may just see the Duchess get exactly what she wants.
