Keeping Up With The Kardashians continues tonight with an all new Sunday, September 27 season 10 episode 15, called “It Feels Good to Be Home” and we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s episode, Kanye West stages a surprise concert in Armenia; Kim Kardashian arranges a special stop in Jerusalem to have North baptized in Israel’s oldest Armenian church.
On the last episode, Kim and Khloé fulfill their father’s dream of visiting their ancestral home when they traveled to Armenia; at the same time, Kourtney was surprised to discover why Kylie was acting so distant. As Kim and Khloe were wrapping up their trip in Armenia, the rest of their family was back home and was still struggling to find a way to make it through Catelyn’s transition.
At the time, the ones that seemed to be hurting the most were Kris and Kendall. Kris was married to Bruce Jenner for well over twenty years and, despite their divorce, she obviously still cared about the father of her two youngest daughters. And what he was up to. However the man she spent a good portion of her life was technically no longer around and in his place was Catelyn.
And so in a way, Kris was grieving over the loss of that relationship. But her daughter Kendall was handling things by simply remaining busy.
Last week, Kylie revealed that she had been spending a lot of time at her father’s and that they had been working on their relationship what with him becoming a her. Yet Kendall for the most part had been avoiding her father. As in she’s been trying to keep busying in the modeling world in order not to think about what’s going on back home.
But, while they may not have been the best way to handle Catelyn’s transition, it did end up having some benefits. Kendall was getting booked right and left. And thus landing the cover of Harper’s Bazaar was definitely a feat for her.
Yet over in Aremina, Khloe and Kim were back at it. Kanye had apparently thrown a concert that no one told Khloe about. So naturally that caused a problem between the two.
Only, once they left Armenia and were in Jerusalem, both women decided to stop arguing about what had gone before and simply be civil for North’s baptism. Kim said it had always been a dream of hers to have a daughter baptized in the holy city and Kanye too appeared to be enjoying the whole experience. Particularly the outfits that the priest wore for the traditional Armenian ceremony.
So just when the trip could have been written – it did a 180 and turned around. But sadly the ladies eventually had to return to their family drama. And it wasn’t long before Kim was once again in trouble. But with Kris of all people.
Kris, you see, had wanted to go to Armenia but just never made it out to there. And so she was hoping to see Kim on her daughter’s return.
However Kim flaked when she was needed. Earlier Kim was invited over to Kourtney’s house to be there for her mother’s piano lessons and, rather than come up with an excuse, the younger woman simply did not show. So Kris was hurt by that.
No one wanted to say it but Kris was depressed. She was staying at home more and more. And the reason she wanted to spend time with her daughter was because Kim was such a great sounding board at the start of Catelyn’s transition.
But then something changed and for some reason Kris wasn’t getting the same kind of support as she normally would have from Kim.
So that strained their relationship somewhat. And later when Kim attempted to make it up to her mom, she still wasn’t getting right by extending an invitation to a concert.
Kris loves her son-in-law Kanye but you could have clearly seen she wasn’t in the mood for a concert. She wasn’t happy and it showed when she was in the audience. And her entire demeanor only got worse when she decided to hide out in the dressing room afterwards rather than socialize.
And so what happens when not only a matriarch but only a businesswomen is off her game? If you guessed mistakes then you would be right. Kris did begin to make mistakes and she nearly had a run-in at the anniversary photoshoot for Cosmo.
Kris had dropped the ball and, for once, that finally alerted her children that something was really wrong.
So following what could have been a disaster for their careers, Kim decided to do something nice for her mom and she went over to Caitlyn’s and found a box labelled Bruce. Caitlyn had packed all of her old things up and Kim asked if she could have a couple pieces for her mom. And so when she got these pieces, she was able to later give Kris a few parting gifts that held a lot of sentimental value.
And that at least made Kris happy.
That is until she noticed a spider in one of the garment bags and called it an omen.
