Stewarts & Hamiltons continues tonight an all new Sunday, August 2 season 1 episode 2, called “Stewed Awakening Pt.1” We’ve got your recap down below! On tonight’s episode, Kimberly decides to expand Sean’s perspective on life with a charity trip to Haiti.
For those of you who don’t know, the show is a reality series about the blended families of rock star Rod Stewart and actor George Hamilton.
On the last episode, in the series premiere, Kimberly Stewart found herself at the mercy of her mother, Alana, who was trying to find her love. Meanwhile, reformed bad boy Ashley Hamilton took a second shot at a music career; and iconic ladies’ man George Hamilton learned that his teenage son GT was no longer in virgin territory. On tonight’s episode as per the E! synopsis “Kimberly decides to expand Sean’s perspective on life with a charity trip to Haiti; at the same time, Ashley needs to overcome a codependent best friendship in order to save his new relationship; and George takes Pablo and GT on a Las Vegas adventure.”

The blended Stewart/Hamilton clan is back for all new episode and admittedly they shouldn’t have started from where they left off.
Remember Kimberly Stewart’s friend that is only a friend. Well, as it turns, out he does have some feelings for her and Kimberly’s mom was the one to pressure him into revealing that. So afterwards things with Dean could have become very awkward. Especially as Dean lived with her and Kim was pretty sure she could never have those kind of feelings for him.
Yet Kim managed to side-step anything that could have ended their friendship. And once she was done having her relationship psychoanalyzed by her mother, she turned her mother’s attention to her brother Ashley.
Ashley has been in a relationship with Ali for a while but only now does it looks like just starting to take off. And that’s because Ali is wanting to put her foot down. Apparently, she wants their realtionsip to work and the one thing that seems to be standing in their way is Ashley’s sober companion Pablo. Pablo was initially hired to take care of Ashley but as time went on – Ashley has almost become dependent on him. Thereby never leaving his side. And that’s something Ali can no longer put up with. The girl would like some alone time with her boyfriend.
So Ali went to Kim for help. And Kim then enlisted George and her mom to have a word with Ashley about his very close association with Pablo. The end result being Ashley was later talked into going on a romantic getaway with his girlfriend.
And George was left taking Pablo and JT to Vegas.
Thus that issue was quickly resolved. Though, sadly for Kim, Ashley isn’t the only brother that she’s worried about. She also has Sean to consider and lately Sean has been needing a firm kick in the rear.
See, Sean is a jokester. As in he rarely takes anything seriously and when he does appear to take a shine to something – it just happens to be the Wolves of Wall Street movie. Sean was being nuisance one day when he kept on claiming he was the wolf.
And it’s because of behavior like that, that his sisters Ruby and Kim felt he needed something to appreciate all that he has. So they came up with the idea to bring him with them on one of their relief missions to Haiti. Haiti is still recovering from a hurricane from nearly a decade ago and its needs all the help it could get. Even if it’s coming Sean.
But Sean being Sean, he made it nearly impossible for him to go with his sisters.
First he slacked off on getting his passport updated. And nearly left it to the last second. Then his mother made him promise not to get thrown into jail. She thought he would get thrown into a Haitian jail but he managed to get arrested at the airport. So that could have been one stopped him going to Haiti.
When they were at the airport, Sean was dared to ride the conveyer-belt and he did. And it was funny right up until he refused to get off while going to the back. So that part was what broke the law and got him fined.
His sisters later paid the fine but they were upset. In their mind, that was typical of their brother. He tends to take things one step too far. But what truly upsets them is that he also sucks on the follow-through. For Sean did make it to Haiti and then proceeded to spend all his time in the car on their first day there.
However George probably had the roughest vacation. Because his son Ashley was enjoying a romantic getaway while he was stuck with Pablo. And Pablo is talkative – very talkative – almost to an unbearable extent.
And Pablo simply can’t understand boundaries. He later took George’s underage son out on the town and the two brought back women to their room. So that came as a rude surprise when George went to go get a snack in the night and found a party happening in their hotel room.
