Storage Wars Wild Brawl on Video: Swearing and Violence Encouraged by Producers?

It looks like the people over at Storage Wars seem to be taking notes from other reality shows that get a little too trashy. There is a recent report that a huge brawl broke out on the middle of the set of Storage Wars that ended with the show halting production. So what exactly went down?

On June 19, Friday afternoon, a brawl broke out while the cast of Storage Wars was shooting an episode in Palm Springs. Dan Dotson, the auctioneer, accidentally missed a bid that was placed by Mary and producers did not want the mistake to go unnoticed. According to TMZ, producers asked Dave Hester, a regular on the show, to inform Dan of his mistake. This is shown things started to take a turn for the worse.

Dave approached Dan to let him know that he missed one of the bids and Dan paid him no mind whatsoever. After Dan ignored Dave, Dave was egged on by producers, once again, to let Dan know that he missed the bid. When Dave approached Dan the second time, Dan was not happy at all and began screaming. He said, “F**k you David! I’m going to kill you!”

At this point, Dave got frustrated with Dan and proceeded to punch Dan in the face. From here on out, it sounds like Storage Wars turned into the Bad Girls Club. Dan retaliated by scratching at David’s eye and Dan’s life, Laura, wanted in on the action so she jumped on Dave’s back. Dave then tossed Laura to the ground and security had to break everything up. Producers decided to end filming for the day and Dave had to go to the emergency room for a tetanus shot after Laura scratched him.

Below you can see the video of the aftermath and it involves a lot of expletives and a ton of screaming. What a mess. In the video you can see Laura, who is visibly angry, screaming at Dave for tossing her to the ground. She accuses of him of liking to hit women and you can hear security and producers doing their best to break everything up.

Dan tweeted out about the whole incident and said, “We’re sorry Storage Wars fans! Violence is never the answer, it’s not OK. We were attacked & did what anyone would do. #StopBullying.” What a lame apology.

This entire situation is so pathetic and we would not be surprised if they did this just for ratings. What do you think of this Storage Wars brawl? Let us know in the comments below.
