RECAP:

Lily’s pregnancy may have come as a shocker but the Kennishs are dealing with it rather well. Some could say they’re even taking the baby new better than their financial crisis because while at first they were hesitant to sell off anything – John and Kathryn honestly thought about and offered to sell their house just to offer Lily and Toby financial support. However their generous offer was politely declined by Toby. He’s finally come to decision about his future with Lily and unfortunately his parents are simply going to have to deal with it.

Earlier, Lily had told Toby that she missed her family and that her mom has been talking to her about moving back home to have the baby. So right away Toby tried to talk Lily out of it. He said his family was here and that they both had jobs here. Which was something that couldn’t be said about London.

But Lily had a ready counter-point. She said her parents have experience with raising a child with disability and that they had a great support group already set up for her in London. So she was seriously considering the idea of moving back home.

Not forever, mind you, probably just for a couple of years. Yet, at the time, Toby wasn’t ready to hear her out. And that’s how he ended up going to his parents and asking them for help. He told John and Kathryn about Lily’s idea and they said they were going to offer as much support as needed. That way Lily could know that they were dependable and always on hand.

However when talking appeared to be failing, John then moved on to plan B and he told Toby that Lily could never take his baby over international waters without his expressed permission. So in other words John was preparing for a fight if he felt his son was going to lose out raising his child.

And as for Kathryn, she was a lot more sympathetic. She’s a mother herself thus she knows that if her daughters were in a foreign country and pregnant that she would want them to come home. To her.

So although his mom told Lily that she should go home, Toby and his father were still trying to convince Lily to do otherwise.

And in the meantime, Bay found out that some guy on campus had used Hammer Girl as a logo for his t-shirts. Now if it had been part of something good or empowering then Bay probably wouldn’t have a problem with someone borrowing Hammer Girl. But this guy used it on shirts that said “No means she needs two more beers”.

So what did Bay do to stop him? Well she tried appealing to him saying he was misusing her logo but when that didn’t work she then told his mother on him. And the woman along with a vine video of him calling girls stupid ended up shutting down his entire franchise. So Bay won.

Yet she knew she could no longer use Hammer Girl after she had been used like that. And there was a part of her that was scared about finding a new logo for herself.

Hammer Girl had been her thing for four years and in a day someone took that from her. So she was scared and if Travis hadn’t been around then she possibly would have given up as well. But Travis was there and he told her that he had faith in her.

And sometimes that’s all someone needs. So Bay decided to go back to the drawing board and, while she’s waiting to see what comes to her, she’s also talked to Emmett. Emmett was told by his professor that his student film about his relationship with Bay should be entered in a contest but he didn’t want to do that without Bay’s permission.

However Bay told him to go ahead. She didn’t want to stop him from pursuing his dreams and it seems Travis has helped her move on in more ways than one.

Speaking of moving on, though, Daphne told her boyfriend that she didn’t have feelings for Quinn. You know the guy in Mexico who was helping to outfit the young and old with hearing aids. But, anyways, Daphne began a fundraiser with him without telling her boyfriend about it. And so Mingo was hurt when he eventually found out.

He also helped Daphne raised the money she needed and he would have liked or better yet preferred it if she had told him about Quinn’s involvement from the start. Because the fact she held that piece of information back means that there is something more going on that Mingo doesn’t know about.

But as for Regina, Eric found out that she had looked up his ex and that she told Daphne about him. So right now he doesn’t know if he can trust her and things at home aren’t looking good.

Though, no matter what everyone else is going through, none of it can hold a candle to what Toby did. It looks like Toby is moving to London with Lily and the baby.

In the end he realized he wanted to be wherever his family.
