“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers for Wednesday, May 20, reveal that Maya (Karla Mosley) will feel distraught over Rick’s (Jacob Young) apparent rejection. Maya will spill the whole story of the night’s events to Nicole (Reign Edwards). Rick was upset about the way everything went down, but he felt they could get through everything with time. However, when Maya asked Rick if he loved her and still wanted to get married, he hung up on her. Obviously, Maya took that as a no. B&B viewers know that Rick is unconscious after crashing his car. Now Maya believes Rick has turned his back on her when she needed him the most.
Considering everything that Rick has been through over the past few hours, no one would be surprised if he took some time to cool off. Rick could be injured, but everyone at Forrester Creations might assume that he simply needs space. “The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers tease that Eric (John McCook) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will have an intense conversation about Rick’s connection to Maya. Eric will argue that Rick and Maya still love each other. Perhaps they can find a way to work things out. However, Brooke may have other plans.
Brooke will do something that she feels will help Rick, but it could mean bad news for Maya. We all know how things typically go when Brooke tries to “help” her friends and family members. Just look at the scene Brooke caused at Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) wedding to Quinn (Rena Sofer). There’s a chance that Brooke’s plan could be a genuine effort to make Rick’s life better, but there’s an equally good chance that it will backfire in a big way.
As for Maya, it looks like she’ll have a choice to make. Maya will have to decide if she’s going to fight for love or let it go. It seems Rick and Maya are confused about where they stand and that could lead Maya to move on with her life. Nevertheless, the rumors indicate that there’s much more to Rick and Maya’s love story. They’ll have some tough times ahead, but Maya and Rick will likely overcome their struggles. Can Rick and Maya put the past behind them and look to the future? Stick with “The Bold and the Beautiful” to see if their relationship will survive.
