“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, October 1, tease that Adam Newman’s (Justin Hartley) world is about to get turned upside down. Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will tell Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) about tracing the IP address to her building. Kevin will add that Ian’s (Ray Wise) partner obviously punched in the computer code at Victor’s (Eric Braeden) office.
Since Chelsea saw Adam coming out of the apartment across the hall, she’ll put it all together. Adam also lied about being with the real estate agent the night of Katherine’s (Jeanne Cooper) memorial, which happened to be the start of the cyberattack. There are just too many coincidences.
Chelsea will confront Adam about being the mastermind of the Paragon Project. Adam will deny it and act like Ian pressured him into the partnership. After months of Adam’s lies, Chelsea will finally snap. Chelsea will give Adam a good smack and rip into him for putting everyone in danger.
It seems Adam’s desire to bring down Victor outweighs everything else. Adam will grab the phone when Chelsea threatens to turn him in. Chelsea will show Adam the door and vow to make him pay for what he’s done. That includes Adam’s role in Delia’s (Sophie Pollono) death.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Gwen (Nadine Nicole) will return to Neil (Kristoff St. John) and indicate that she just couldn’t bring herself to tell anyone about Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Gwen will suggest that everyone will hate Neil and he could never show his face in town again.
Neil will insist that Hilary needs help and he can’t allow Gwen to be involved. It would make Gwen an accomplice. Gwen will reply that she wants to be there for him and her sister could be of assistance. Y&R rumors hint that this situation is about to get even more complicated.
At the hospital, Devon (Bryton James) will burst into Jane Doe’s room and end up disappointed. Jane Doe is actually Marisa (Sofia Pernas), not Hilary. It appears Marisa was going out of town, but she got mugged while waiting for a car to take her to the airport. Marisa was hit in the head and blacked out. Noah (Robert Adamson) will show up and wonder if Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) was the one behind this. Marisa won’t believe that Luca would attack her.
Noah will start to leave and Marisa will warn him not to talk to Luca about the incident. Noah will track down Luca anyway and they’ll have a confrontation at the athletic club. Luca will seem upset to learn that Marisa was hurt and he’ll swear it wasn’t him. Noah will come back to Marisa with updates. Marisa will wonder if Victor might’ve ordered someone to rough her up.
Meanwhile, Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will let Dylan (Steve Burton) know that the kidnapper is probably keeping Hilary somewhere other than a hospital. The high reward means people would be on the lookout. They’ll realize that the kidnapper might need more supplies soon and they could put trackers on the items in the closet.
Dylan will give Paul (Doug Davidson) the news and hope that this idea could lead them to Hilary. It sounds like the search for Hilary is heating up. Stick with the CBS soap to see how long Neil and Gwen can hide the truth.
