“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that Miles Gaston Villanueva may have signed a contract, keeping the handsome actor in Genoa City for another year. The hunky soap star posted to social media that he will be on Y&R all of December and hinted at a HUGE storyline.
For a few months, TPTB have teased that Marco Annicelli [Peter Bergman] could make his way back to Genoa City. When Luca first arrived in town, he told ex-wife, Marisa [Sophia Pernas] that he had been in contact with Marco and it was Marco who told him where to find Marisa.
Luca did not confirm that Marco was in jail, only that they had spoken. Victor Newman [Eric Braeden] told Marisa, Jack [Peter Bergman] and Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] that he sent Marco back to the Peruvian prison where he found him six months before, but is he locked up?
Victor’s men took Marco away on a helicopter – and cut his ear off – so they’d know if Marco tried to return. Marco has not been seen since, so it is quite possible that he never made it to the prison and could be lurking in the shadows somewhere nearby.
Who knows, Marco could even be in Genoa City now, watching Phyllis, Jack, and Victor and planning his next move. Miles Gaston Villanueva teased he has a big storyline in the works – could it relate to the warning Victor issued Luca when he first arrived in town not to cross him?
Lucas has mentioned that his family, the Santoris, are extremely powerful and influential and don’t take threats lightly. Is it possible that Luca’s family is connected to the mob? One person that Luca cannot stand in Genoa City is Noah Newman [Robert Adamson].
He sees Noah as his competition for his ex-wife Marisa’s attention. Luca refers to Noah as ‘a boy’ and doesn’t understand why Marisa is drawn to him. In Luca’s mind, he wonders why Marisa would want to be with a boy, when she could be with someone like…him?
Luca is a fresh character, and TPTB haven’t done much with him. They have given fans a glimpse of his talent, and generally the fans are enjoying his portrayal of Luca. They would be blind not to try to capitalize on his fan base and give him a recurring contract.
His presence brings the real possibility that Marco could return to Genoa City and stir up trouble for Victor, Jack, and Phyllis. Are you happy about Miles Gaston Villanueva’s presumed new contract deal?
