Bachelor In Paradise spoilers tease that Vinny Ventiera and Izzy Goodkind are together again – despite the painfully awkward telephone call that we witnessed during part one of the Season 3 finale last night on ABC. There has been so much drama on Bachelor in Paradise this summer, it’s hard to keep track of it all, but Izzy and Vinny’s story is one that is hard to forget.
When Bachelor In Paradise spoilers revealed at the beginning of Season 3 that Jojo Fletcher’s ex would find love in Mexico this summer, we were all thrilled for Vinny. He seemed like a good dude on The Bachelorette. Then, of course, our second thought was, “Wait, who is Izzy?” No one really remembers much of Izzy Goodkind on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor – some of the girls that were even on that season with her don’t remember her. But, after this summer of Bachelor In Paradise, it is going to be hard to forget her. Just for the record – Izzy Goodkind is not too kind.
Vinny and Izzy were one of those couples that got drunk and made out on night one of Bachelor In Paradise, and then they never left each other’s sides. As a couple, they were starting to grow on us, and Vinny was so smitten he was already talking about proposing to Izzy at the end of the show. Then, two weeks ago, “Brett The Lamp Guy” arrived in paradise.
Izzy informed Vinny that she thought Brett and his Lamp were hot, and she wanted to get to know him. Obviously, Vinny was a bit bamboozled, they were just talking about marriage yesterday, and now Izzy wants to have an open relationship and hang out with “Brett The Lamp Guy?” Vinny was pretty upset, we were also pretty upset for him, and he waltzed out of Paradise and quit the show.
Fast forward to two weeks later, Izzy Goodkind has not mentioned missing Vinny Ventiera at all – she’s been following Brett around like a lost puppy, even though it’s obvious he’s just not that into her. Last night on Part 1 of the Bachelor In Paradise Season 3 finale, Brett took Izzy aside and told her that he wanted to just be friends. He was not giving her his rose, and he liked Lauren H. instead
BAM! Izzy suddenly remembers the sweet and hot guy that was in love with her. She announces she is leaving paradise to find Vinny and get him back. Girl, you were going to get sent home in half an hour anyways at the rose ceremony. Izzy hops in the car and calls Vinny and tells him how sorry she is, and that she wants him back. Of course, Ms Goodkind neglects to tell him that she only wants him back because Brett just dumped her. Vinny stays strong though, he calmly explains to Izzy that there is no going back after what she did to him in Paradise, and hangs up on her. Cue the sobbing and hyperventilating.
Bachelor In Paradise 2016 spoilers tease that despite Vinny’s awesome revenge during the Season 3 finale, apparently he didn’t stay strong for long, and he has since forgiven Izzy. Since those scenes were filmed for the BIP finale, Izzy and Vinny have been spotted traveling together and flirting on a plane together, and there were a few other sightings. Plus, Vinny even took to social media to defend Izzy’s actions. Seriously!?
