Pretty Little Liars star Brandon Jones was arrested for pulling a gun on his neighbour during a dispute. Now the PLL actor could be facing some major prison time! Fans of the ABC Family drama (now known as Freeform), will remember Jones as Andrew Campbell – he has been in and out of the Rosewood drama since 2013. And, at one point the liars even thought that Brandon Jones’ character was “A!”
According to a report from TMZ, the altercation occurred on March 24. Jones and his neighbour were arguing, it’s unclear what they were having a disagreement about. The website is reporting, “the 27-year-old actor was arrested for taking out his handgun and pointing it at a male neighbor. It’s unclear what they were arguing about.”
Brandon Jones was charged with a felony – assault with a firearm. Even though the Pretty Little Liars star didn’t actually shoot the gun or hit his neighbour with it, it is still considered a felony because he pointed the gun directly at the victim and threatened him with it.
Brandon’s lawyer is arguing self-defense. Brandon’s lawyer released a statement on his client’s behalf, “It is our understanding that the gun in Mr. Jones’ possession was fully legal and registered, that he was on his girlfriend’s private property, and that he and his girlfriend felt that they were under threat in a dispute with neighbours.”
If Brandon Jones is found guilty – he could be going to prison for five years. Although, his lawyer told TMZ that they are confident Brandon’s charges against him will be dropped. How crazy is this?! Let us know what you think in the comments below!
