Claire will likely be pleased by the news that she’s racked up so many downloads. If Claire can attract attention with no press, just think about what she could do once she has an actual album. With the right advertising, Claire will probably think she can be the next Taylor Swift.
However, even Taylor would tell Claire that there are pros and cons to fame. If Claire takes her shot at stardom, what happens to her college plans? Claire’s parents will undoubtedly encourage her to finish high school and pursue the rest of her education goals.
After the song’s popularity fizzles, Claire might snap back to reality and determine that her music career can wait.
