Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eve (Kassie DePaiva) is headed back to the NBC soap. We’ve been hearing about her return for a while, but we finally have a firm date. Days spoilers indicate that Eve will pop up in Salem on Friday, December 9.
Brady (Eric Martsolf) will be stunned when Eve comes to check on him. She’ll announce that she’s in town for a visit and she wanted to see how Brady’s been doing. Eve has likely received updates on Theresa’s (Jen Lilley) departure from Kim (Patsy Pease) and Shane (Charles Shaughnessy).
Of course, it’s tough to say how much they’ve shared. The less that people know about the Mateo (Andoni Gracia) situation, the better off they’ll be. Eve might be just as shocked as Brady is by Theresa’s behavior. She may wonder how Theresa could’ve reverted to her old ways so fast.
Just before the villains derailed the wedding, Eve told Theresa how thankful she was to have a real connection with her sister. She felt like they were both in a great place. Now everything has changed. On the other hand, Eve can keep a secret. Perhaps Shane and Kim have filled her in on the whole story.
Naturally, Eve would keep quiet if she knew about the danger everyone would be in. Even Eve herself could be killed if she got on Mateo’s bad side. Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Eve will want to do whatever she can to help Brady. She’ll hate that everything had to turn out like this.
We haven’t heard any news about how long Eve’s visit will last. It appears this was supposed to be an extended stay, but it was cut short by a real-life health crisis. During one of DOOL’s regularly scheduled hiatuses, Kassie DePaiva was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.
As a result, DePaiva had to skip the remainder of her stint to undergo treatment. It looks like the door may be open for a return when she’s ready. Through her blog, DePaiva revealed that her prognosis is good and she’s hoping to get back to Salem soon.
Due to the show’s taping schedule, it’s difficult to estimate how many episodes DePaiva shot. Nevertheless, viewers will definitely enjoy them. Eve has become a fan favorite and most Days of Our Lives watchers are excited about what’s next for her.
Aside from helping Brady, Eve will undoubtedly interact with Justin (Wally Kurth). We still don’t know for sure if Adrienne (Judi Evans) will choose Justin or Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). If she stays committed to her groom, maybe Justin could be drawn to Eve again. Even if they just remain friends, they have a nice connection.
Days spoilers say Eve will also share scenes with Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) eventually. Something strange is brewing. By the time Eve wraps up this stint, she’ll have some unfinished business with Deimos. That’s an excellent reason to bring Eve back down the road.
