‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Vivian Alamain Responsible for Tate’s Kidnapping – Villainess Returns for Revenge?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Jen Lilley) will continue their quest for answers. After they tracked down Summer (Marie Wilson) in Las Vegas, they realized that Tate wasn’t with her. Summer admits that she took the money, but insists she left the child back in Salem.

To be fair, we never actually saw Summer swipe Tate. DOOL only implied it. However, Summer doesn’t have a great track record when it comes to lying. Nearly everything she says is deceptive in some way.

We do know that Summer made a secret exchange with a woman named Dominique, but the details of the deal weren’t clear. Regardless, Summer doesn’t have Tate at this very moment and that’s all that matters. There’s no time to dwell on Summer’s shady past when “Tater Tot” is missing.

Brady and Theresa have to focus on finding the person behind the kidnapping rather than the person who did the dirty work. Days of Our Lives has been giving us valuable clues that could point to the kidnapper’s identity. There could also be a bit of trickery in play.

DOOL normally has pretty straightforward plots, but this particular storyline could involve a little misdirection. From the beginning, it looked like Victor (John Aniston) would inevitably be blamed for this. He’s been trashing Theresa every chance he gets and even Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) is starting to doubt his innocence.

Summer is pointing the finger at Victor, too. She wouldn’t be surprised if Vic was teaching Brady a lesson. John (Drake Hogestyn) linked the blackmailer’s phone number to a disbanded corporation. We’ll soon find out that the company had ties with Victor.

Days should’ve just flashed a neon sign that said, “Victor’s guilty!” It all seems too easy. That’s precisely why we should be skeptical.

Brady will grill Victor about his potential role in the kidnapping. Since Brady tends to be wrong about almost everything, maybe we shouldn’t assume Victor is responsible. The police will eventually question Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), but we’re not sure he’s a good fit either.

Deimos has been awfully busy trying to escape death and win over Nicole (Arianne Zucker). He came to Salem on a mission to bring down Victor’s family, but he’s trying to change his evil ways. Kristen would be a perfect candidate for the kidnapping, but Eileen Davidson tweeted that she wouldn’t be reprising her role anytime soon.

If Davidson’s tweet about Kristen is true and the shifty Kiriakis brothers are in the clear, who would that leave? Perhaps we should think about Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel). It hasn’t been confirmed, but Days of Our Lives buzz suggests that Vivian may be making a return to Salem in the near future.

For those who aren’t familiar with Vivian, here’s a refresher. Vivian is a conniving and slightly comical villainess. She married Victor a couple of times, but it never really involved love on his part. It was always about business or blackmail. Vivian also tried to take over Titan Industries, so she may still have some connections.

Vivian was always one to hold grudges and Brady gave her a reason to on more than one occasion. He foiled Vivian’s plan to kill Maggie and later stranded her on an island because on another fiasco. Maybe Vivian has been silently stewing. She might’ve decided that now is the time for revenge.

As far as money goes, Vivian probably has plenty to toss at Summer. She ran off with her wealthy henchman to start a new life as a Bollywood movie actress. They’ve undoubtedly found success. That was kind of a lame exit, so that’s just another reason to bring Vivian back into the conflict.

Could Days throw us a curveball and make Vivian to blame for Tate’s kidnapping? It might be an interesting twist. We’ll give you updates as more news comes in. Stay tuned and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news.
