Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) will try to stay on the straight and narrow. He knows Nicole (Arianne Zucker) wants him to be a better man and that’s exactly what he intends to do. However, there’s a good chance that Deimos’ evil tendencies will creep back in.
When Deimos debuted on Days of Our Lives, he was the ultimate bad boy. He came to town with one purpose and one purpose only. Deimos had spent 30 years plotting revenge on Victor (John Aniston) and it was time for his brother to pay the piper. That meant anyone and everyone close to Victor was at risk.
Deimos swapped out Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) medication with poison. He was only willing to supply the antidote if Victor would sign over everything he owned. Of course, Maggie also took a terrible fall down the staircase in her weakened state. It left her in a motorized wheelchair.
Since then, Deimos has shown no real remorse for what happened. He viewed it as a business deal and nothing more. If Deimos isn’t even sorry, it may be difficult for him to shift gears in the coming months. That’s especially true if Kate (Lauren Koslow) keeps poking the bear.
Deimos is a criminal who’s trying to turn into a gentleman. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) showed us the opposite progression. When he first came on the scene, he was the quiet and mysterious Ben Rogers. It was one of his many aliases. Ben had lived a life on the run with his sister, Jordan (Chrishell Stause).
We eventually learned Ollie and Tammy Sue were trying to get away from their abusive father, Clyde (James Read). Ben later made amends with his dad and that’s when the trouble really started. Clyde’s malicious nature brought out a whole new side of Ben.
Once Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Kate Mansi) began to reconnect, Ben truly lost it. Most Days fans can remember the exact moment when Ben started to change. As Abigail slept in bed, Ben glared at her from across the room. He coldly whispered, “She’s mine.” It was downright chilling!
From there, Ben came unhinged. He stalked Abigail with an app and his violent outbursts became more frequent. Ben framed Chad for Serena’s (Melissa Archer) murder and then killed Paige (True O’Brien) to seal the deal. The news quickly spread around town.
Will (Guy Wilson) found out Ben was the necktie killer and he was strangled as well. Next, Ben beat Chad into a coma and kidnapped Abigail. He murdered the midwife, Wendy, after she delivered Colin (aka Thomas). When Chad arrived to save Abigail, Ben left them both to die in a fire while he took off with the baby.
To top it all off, Ben escaped from the psychiatric hospital and tormented Abigail again. Whew! That’s a lot of offenses. Ben is definitely a bad boy. Days of Our Lives viewers will remember Ben’s name for many years to come.
Ben is obviously mentally disturbed. Something is seriously wrong with him, but he’s still shown flashes of guilt here and there. That’s more than we can say about Deimos. He’s just dead inside – or at least he was until he found Nicole.
