Is One Direction star Harry Styles is heading to the primetime TV show Scream Queens? Reportedly, the boy band hunk has decided to pursue a career in acting, while his band is on indefinite hiatus, and according to several reports – he has joined the cast of the FOX comedy ‘Scream Queens.’
Rumors have been floating around for a few weeks now that Harry Styles would be starring on the FOX TV show, and now FOX has finally spoken out on the huge casting rumor.
Despite the fact that ‘Scream Queens’ stars Kiki Palmer and Emma Watson both have been pushing for the hunky Harry casting, fans have even photo-shopped Harry in to promo posters for Season 2, and supposedly Harry Styles’ character information was released (he was going to be a doctor) – the One Direction singer is NOT joining the FOX show.
At this point, the reports and rumors seemed so legit – Harry Styles probably called his manager to see if the news was true and he was going to be on ‘Scream Queens.’ The internet have even named Harry’s “Scream Queens” character and given him a profession, talk about wishful thinking!
The official Scream Queens Twitter account made the announcement on Monday March 14 and tweeted out this message to fans of the show, “Sorry for any confusion, but as much as we love@harry_styles he will not be joining the #ScreamQueensSeason 2 cast.”
Obviously, Harry fans and ‘Scream Queens’ fans weren’t happy with the news. But, hey on the bright side, they still haven’t officially announced that Justin Bieber hasn’t joined the cast – maybe those ridiculous rumors are true!
Besides, Harry Style may not be joining the popular show but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he won’t be joining any other television shows in the future.
