Frank was back however, no one was happy to see him and that went especially for Laurel. Laurel had felt that Frank had lied to her for too long to suddenly come back and say he loves her. So she had wanted to him to leave her apartment and would have said or done anything to make that possible if Bonnie hadn’t called her. Bonnie had apparently known that Laurel would be Frank’s next stop so she told Annalise and Annalise came up with a plan. Annalise had Bonnie call Laurel to hide the fact that it was actually her that was making the call and then she gave Laurel a message.

Annalise told Laurel that she had to tell Frank that he couldn’t come by her house or she would shoot him. So Laurel had passed on the message yet Frank hadn’t thought Annalise was serious and so he was going to Annalise’s house whether she liked it or not. However, Laurel did believe that Annalise had been telling the truth when she said that she would Frank and so she followed Annalise’s advice to her. Annalise had told her that she needed to keep Frank at her apartment by any means and so Laurel asked Frank to prove to her that he loves her.

Yet, Laurel didn’t want to worry Wes so she decided not to tell him that Frank was at her apartment though Annalise had later taken that choice out of her hands. Annalise had found out that Wes was subpoenaed by the police investigating Wallace Mahoney’s murder and she believed the only way to counteract Charles Mahoney’s alibi was to get Frank. So Annalise sent Bonnie to find Frank and that had alerted Wes who did ended up getting jealous. Wes for instance, had asked about what happened and Laurel had to reassure him that she hadn’t slept with Frank.

Laurel said that she had just kept Frank from doing something stupid and that nothing else happened. Though the fact that Frank was back in town and had been asked to save Wes wasn’t lost on anyone. The others had thought that it was crazy to get mixed up with Frank again after what he did and not everyone was happy about saving Wes from the mess he had created for himself. So Michaela and Connor both bowed out, but Asher decided to stay around and help Wes. Asher had felt that they couldn’t abandon one of their own and so he wanted to help build Wes’s defense.

Bonnie however, had later told Asher when they were alone that he should leave before anything worse happened. So Asher had asked her if anything bad was about to happen and Bonnie had been bluntly honest with him. She had said him that something bad was always about to happen at the Keating House. But Asher still didn’t want to give up on Wes and they ended up finding what they needed to truly help Wes. Wes had once been held on a seventy-two-hour suicide watch so that could call into question anything he claimed he saw and they wouldn’t even have to use Frank.

Frank was a loose cannon now more than ever so Annalise had set Wes’s medical files to defense and she had asked Bonnie to off Frank. However, Frank didn’t want to be called off. Frank had found out that Charles Mahoney’s alibi was the same woman that had slept with him and offered him that money to turn on Annalise. So Frank had wanted payback and he wasn’t afraid to break into Lisa Cameron’s home yet both Bonnie and Annalise hadn’t wanted Frank to lay a finger on Lisa much less while she was with her child. Only Frank didn’t want to listen to reason.

Frank had felt that it was Lisa’s fault that Annalise lost her baby and so he didn’t have any sympathy for Lisa or her child. Yet, Frank did eventually have second thoughts when he had been standing over Lisa and her daughter. So he couldn’t do it and he had told Bonnie to pass on the message to Annalise though Bonnie had told him something first. Bonnie had told Frank to back into the house. Bonnie had felt that they were doing the right thing because that was what Annalise needed to be done and so she wanted Frank to finish what he started.

Though Annalise found a solution of her own that didn’t require for anyone to get hurt. Annalise had snuck in a paid as a you go phone into Charles Mahoney in prison and that safe placed Wes. So Wes didn’t have to pretend to be off his rocker. He purposely made sure that he passed his psych evaluation and then later Annalise’s plan came together in court. Annalise had told Frank to call Charles’s phone from Lisa’s house and that had created a story. Like how Lisa and Charles talked the night before the trial to make sure that their stories matched up. And so that made Charles look guilty in front of everyone.

The ADA had an eye-witness putting Charles at the crime scene and she had proof that he had lied about the last time he had spoken with Lisa. So Charles wasn’t going to be able to escape the narrative even if it had been a fake one and so that left his mother desperate. Charles’s mother has taken to going in front of the cameras and she kept insisting that her son was being railroaded. But it looked bad for Charles and Wes was just relieved that the whole thing would soon be over that he got careless. Wes questioned Annalise about Frank.

Wes didn’t believe that Frank should be forgiven and so he reminded her that Frank killed her baby and Annalise’s instant reply had been that he killed Sam. She later said that she didn’t mean it, but the words had been said and Wes for second had wondered if Annalise really was looking after his best interest. However, Wes had told Laurel that he has her and that she was all she need. So Wes and Laurel were happy while Annalise dealt with some loose ends. Annalise had offered to be Soraya Hargrove’s lawyer as she fights for custody.

Annalise had said that they needed to stop letting the men in their lives take their power and so she convinced Hargrove to accept her help. Yet, once she had been done with that, Annalise had agreed to see Frank and she had told him that she had never recovered from losing her son. So Frank had put the gun to his head as a way for Annalise to forgive him and she was practically begging him to do it when Bonnie walked in. Bonnie still cared about Frank despite everything and so she was begging him not to hurt himself. She had said that it would haunt Annalise and that they both needed him.

So the gun was still in his hand when the show flash forward and it was revealed that Connor was hooking with Thomas because he had wanted to get back at Oliver for breaking up with him again.

THE END!
