Phillip had attacked Annalise last week. He had gone over to Wes’s apartment and apparently had waited for Wes to arrive when Annalise ended up falling into his trap instead.

However, Annalise managed to get away from Phillip with only the minimum of bruises. So she was fine after her ordeal, but she still had to answer some rather unfortunate questions that the police had her for her. As in why she was at Wes’s apartment to begin with seeing as professors usually don’t make late night house calls.

Just common courtesy, you know. Only Annalise couldn’t give the police the answer they wanted much less reveal the real reason she had gone over to Wes’s. Which had been to tell him about his mother Rose and how the woman really did commit suicide as a way to protect him.

Though Annalise didn’t actually want to talk to Wes after she was released from the hospital. In fact, she told Wes that they talk the second everything else had been cleared up. And sadly Eve also wasn’t going to him anything because she went back to New York after she got Nate’s guarantee that he would look after Annalise.

So Wes was, without a doubt, stuck. He had to wait around until Annalise was ready to talk, but she chose to lock herself away once she got home. Where she then began drinking long into the day and partially into the night.

And Annalise’s absence basically left Bonnie in charge for a while. Therefore, it had been Bonnie that had followed each of the kids down to the District Attorney’s office and Bonnie was the one that had to represent each one of them during questioning that sounded an awfully a lot like an interrogation. As the District Attorney tried to convince them to reveal what they were really doing on the night an ADA of his was killed “allegedly” by Catherine.

Only Asher hadn’t been in any of the videos thus it hadn’t made sense to either Bonnie or Asher why he would be called in. But the District Attorney was quick to inform them. For it seems a secretary within his department had confessed to remember seeing Asher in the same parking garage as ADA Sinclair had last been seen in.

Yet, just like everyone else, Asher hadn’t spoken up and he too turned down whatever plea agreement they had been offered. So the Keating Five had walked away from their latest close however Annalise didn’t want to see them at her house despite their victory. And she kicked everyone besides Wes out!

Apparently Annalise hadn’t been drinking for the sake of it. She had slowly been working up her courage to talk to Wes and eventually she felt it was time to tell him about his mother. How Rose had been pressured into testifying even though it had all been a lie.

And how Rose then killed herself to protect Wes. Though Wes knew there had to be more to the story so he asked for the truth because he thought that Annalise was lying to him again and that’s what led to Annalise finally telling all when she said Rose (and later herself) had been protecting him from Wallace Mahoney. Who was not only a danger to Wes but also Wes’s father.

But Wes was initially in denial and how could he not be? His mother had always told him that his father had died. So it had been up to Annalise to tell him that Wallace had attacked Rose. And had probably done so for years which resulted in Wes, yet it could have also been how Wallace thought he could manipulate Rose into providing a false alibi for his other son Charles.

So Wes was hit with a lot. He learned his father was still alive and an internet search he later did show that Wallace had even moved his offices to New York recently. Although, Annalise hadn’t told Wes what she had also lose because of Wallace.

For Wallace had fired her when she realized he had raped Rose and, when she had tried to tell the cops that Wes hadn’t killed his mother, someone had hit her car before she could make it down to the station. So Annalise lost someone too. She had lost her baby and the first cracks in her marriage to Sam began to appear right afterwards.

Therefore, no one besides Wallace was able to walk away from that situation unscathed. And even thinking about tends to bring to Annalise to a very dark place. Though Laurel was ultimately the one to push Annalise into running away.

Laurel and the rest had gone out drinking after Annalise had kicked them out. So while Michaela ended up having sex with Asher of all people in the bathroom, Laurel had instead gone running to Annalise because she wanted to know what the other woman had told Wes. However, Annalise didn’t believe that was any of Laurel’s business so she was tossing the drunk girl out of her home or the second time when Laurel mentioned Frank.

Laurel had said that Annalise was coming in-between her relationships and that if Frank hadn’t killed Lila for her then none of what followed would have ever had happened.

Yet Annalise’s hadn’t asked Frank to kill Lila. That had been Sam and so when Annalise either figured that out or wrongly blamed herself for Frank’s actions – she ran home. To her mother!

Meanwhile Bonnie had actually missed out on the whole bar scene in order to talk to Frank about Lila and Sam seeing as she too knew he killed Lila.

And everyone completely ignored the fact that Caleb was missing. Has been missing since Phillip sudden reappearance and could be dead for all they know.

THE END!
