On March 9, the Duggar family acknowledged that Josh had completed his residential program at the Family Research Council and returned to Arkansas. The statement posted on the family website reveals that Josh “will continue professional counseling and focus on rebuilding relationships with his family.”
How can Josh and Anna rebuild their relationship if Anna Duggar chooses to live with family rather than go back and share a bed with Josh Duggar? There’s also the relationship with Jim Bob and Michelle that is in need of serious repair. Aren’t Jim Bob and Michelle just as much to blame? These two basically covered up the fact that Josh molested underage girls.
The Duggar family had a good thing going there with “19 Kids and Counting,” and its associated spinoffs, on TLC. Jim Bob Duggar and the bunch were making some serious bank; not only from the reality show but from several books authored by Michelle Duggar, the family website, and speaking engagements.
A source recently told OK! magazine that Josh and Anna are “having a very difficult time, and the Duggars hold Josh responsible for destroying their meal ticket.” The insider revealed that the entire Duggar family is doing everything they can to put this mess behind them but it’s going to take a very long time.
Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard may never forgive Josh for what he has done. The fallen reality television star will not appear on his sister’s TLC show “Jill & Jessa: Counting On.” Josh will probably have the most difficulty winning aback Jessa’s trust and forgiveness. Jessa blasted Josh in a Facebook post last year, calling him a “hypocritical Christian.”
What happens next for Josh Duggar and Anna Duggar? Divorce isn’t an option, but Anna can certainly choose to live apart from Josh. How can Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar not place blame on Josh for destroying not only the family but their biggest source of income?
