Simone had tried to find her father. She had left behind her family to search for him in Nashville however, nothing she or her friends tried seemed to bring her any closer to finding out what happened to her father. But Simone was ultimately forced to give up her search. She had two kids and a husband that needed her. So she had to give up on looking for her father and hope for the best. Simone’s father was an alcoholic and he has had many relapses over the years so a part of Simone and her family had hoped that he had been out of communication because he had been on another binge.
Only she didn’t exactly like the idea that her father could be drinking again. It was the drinking that stopped Simone from introducing her children to their grandfather. So her children never gotten the chance to get to know the other man or even see what he’s like for themselves, but in way that has helped them adjust better than most. They knew that he was missing and that their mother was sad. Though they didn’t feel the same type of way and had actually gone on with their regular lives when she was gone because that’s what made sense for them. So Miles had gotten relationship advice from his father about this girl he likes and Simone had even gotten the chance to laugh about that when she got home.
Simone had said that Cecil had no game and then she had told her children about how they got together. She had mentioned that it had actually been Cecil’s roommate that had asked her out first and that she had dated Cecil afterward. So that was it for his game and according to Simone he had only gotten lucky because she had had a crush on him. Yet, it had been an easy moment for the family which was what they needed and in time Simone started to feel better about falling back into her normal routine. She was seeing patients again and her latest patient had been referred to her by his relatives.
Simone was treating a transgendered man who still had his female organs. So Simone had to careful walk through her patient because a gynecological exam for different for a someone that didn’t feel they were born in the right body and had liked being treated as a woman yet Simone took care to explain everything that was going to happen and discuss freezing her patient’s eggs. However, Simone was doing something worthwhile even as Lisa Nicole was following through on her commitment to have children. Lisa had said she wanted another baby and she had thought that her husband supported her in that decision. And so of course, Heavenly had to tell Lisa differently.
Heavenly had wanted to plan a woman empowerment seminar with Lisa and they had been discussing that when Lisa’s baby plans somehow wounded up on the table. But Heavenly didn’t want to hold back with Lisa. She told the other woman who was a friend that Darren didn’t really want a baby. He had apparently talked about it with the guys and they had all walked with the clear impression that it was Lisa that wanted the baby and that Darren was merely going along for the ride. So Heavenly had tried to tell Lisa that and Lisa had gotten angry. Lisa said that her husband would have told her if he didn’t want another baby. And that he had never told anyone that he didn’t want a baby.
Heavenly, though, had thought that Lisa was lying to herself so she tried discussing what Darren had said. She said Darren didn’t want another child so late in life. Yet, Lisa wanted to believe her husband was telling her the truth so she defended him. She said Darren had told her that he wanted a baby and Heavenly just couldn’t believe it. Heavenly knew that Darren lies to Lisa and she attempted to remind her of that. So she told Lisa that Darren lies to save his own skin which what he’s done in the past and Lisa had blown up at her. Lisa felt that Heavenly was interfering in her marriage and so she quickly wanted out of their meeting.
Later, however, she had tried talking to her husband about what he said to the guys and that time he did at least admit that he had voiced some doubts. He said he was allow to have doubts because of the problems Lisa had had with their other children. Though Darren also mentioned that he would be proud if Lisa would come home one day to say she was pregnant. So he did his best to convince his wife that her wanting a baby was fine with him and so that made Lisa feel like it had been Heavenly in the wrong. Lisa thought Heavenly was way out of bounds so she couldn’t wait to talk to Mariah about how horrible Heavenly had been to her.
Lisa and Mariah had a lunch date and it turns out that Mariah could really refuse those because she had to take friends where she could find them. However, Mariah had been told that Heavenly interfered with Lisa’s marriage and that was something she could get behind. Mariah had said that heavenly would never take it lying down if someone ever talked about ‘Daddy’. So the two ladies had a good laugh about Heavenly who calls her husband ‘Daddy’ when he calls her ‘Buddy’. They both felt that it was just another example of Heavenly flying off at the mouth so they were able to write it off, but Mariah did try to get Lisa from getting into a fight with Heavenly at Jackie’s event.
Jackie was a breast cancer survivor and so she wanted to do her best for the cause. She had arranged a photo-shoot that was to go towards raising money and she had asked all of the ladies to participate. But for some reason Lisa decided to go the event despite not wanting to do the photo-shoot. She said she didn’t want to show her body and explained that showing her areoles was different than showing some cleavage. So Lisa was sitting off on the edges when Mariah told her to sit by Heavenly and that’s when everything popped off. Lisa got into an argument with Heavenly and the two were screaming so loud that Jackie finally snapped.
Jackie said that they had disrespected her and the cause so she threw everyone out because she finally had enough.
