Tonight’s episode of NCIS Los Angeles kicks off with two young boys, in the street – they have been strapped with bombs and are being watched by men across the street. Whatever the boys were supposed to do with the bombs, they are having second thoughts. They decide to make a run for it – and the men in suits start chasing them. One of the little boys is hit by a bus and the bomb he is wearing explodes – his brother watches from a few feet away and cries his name.

Deeks and Kensi are bickering at work about living together. Deek found a baby magazine and thinks she wants to have kids. Things gets awkward – luckily Hettie calls them in to be briefed on the explosion downtown. Callen and Sam are on the scene – they learn that a kid was hit by a car and it appears that he was wearing some sort of suicide bombing vest. The explosion was caused by Binetex. They can’t find the other boy that was at the scene.

Back at headquarters they are running facial recognition on the boys and the men chasing them on camera. One of the men’s name is Mondal, he is a member of Alquaeda and has been operating out of India. The boys aren’t Indian though. One of the twins names is Tomar Sahavi and he is Israeli – his parents are David and Rachel Sahavi. David Sahavi is an Israeli diplomat and he is stationed in Tel Haviv.

Kensi calls David and Rachel in Tel Haviv, he says that what they are saying is absurd – there is no way that his son Tomar was involved in the bombing, he is in Israel with them. Kensi is skeptical, so David puts his son Tomar on the video call. He is very much alive, and also looks identical to the twin boys that were spotted on camera with the bombs.

Callen and Sam are trying to track down the missing boy from the explosion – they follow him to an office building and hop in the elevator. They can’t find him anywhere and realize the boy went up to the roof. They find him hiding inside a water tower on the roof – Callen climbs in to the tower with the boy and learns that his name is Nadir. Nadir is strapped with a bomb, and if he lifts his thumb off from the phone in his hand – then they are both going up in an explosion. Nadir has been clearly brainwashed, he says he just took a trip to heaven. And, warns Callen not to come any closer or else he will blow both of them up, he won’t take his vest off or else that means he won’t get in to heaven.

Back at headquarters, Deeks and Kensi are trying to get down to the bottom of Tomar and his twins. It turns out the Sahavis travelled to India to go to a fertility clinic and hired a surrogate. They think that the other boys that are identical to Tomar were born at the same fertility clinic and created with the same donors.

Meanwhile in the water tower, Callen is still trying to talk to Nadir. He says that he would rather die than live without his twin brother. He was all that he had – his parents abandoned them when they were babies. Nadir doesn’t trust Callen – he says that Americans kill kids all of the time.

Back at headquarters, Kensi and the rest of the team find out that Nadir was born by a surrogate mother who was impregnated by a fertility doctor named Dr. Baral. Apparently Baral uses his customers eggs to impregnate very young girls, with several embryos, he gives the parents one of the babies and sells the rest of them on the black market. Baral is already being investigated by the FBI for his suspicious practice.

Meanwhile, in the tower Callen is trying to explain to him that his mother and father are still alive and he has another brother named Tomar. They get David and Rachel on the video camera and they talk to Nadir and show him his brother. Nadir believes them, and agrees to let them take the vest off from him. Sam and the bomb squad arrive at the water tower – but they are in over their heads, they don’t think they can disarm the bomb.

Deeks and Kensi finally get a break on the guys that had strapped Nadir and his brother with bombs. They get an address and Sam, Deeks, and Kensi arrive at the house with the swat team. They find the men from the video inside, and arrest them and take them in to custody. Sam heads upstairs and finds four more kids with bombs strapped to them.

Back in the tower, Callen and the bomb squad has managed to hack in to the phone that he was holding and are getting the bomb off from him. Sam comforts Nadir while they pull the vest off from him – and it w
