Is Prince William using the Invictis Games as an excuse to escape from Kate Middleton and her commoner family? Is the Duke of Cambridge off partying with Prince Harry?
After a week traveling through India and Bhutan with the Duchess of Cambridge it appears that Prince William might be taking a break from the Cambridge family. We think the last time we saw Kate Middleton and William together is when the Royal couple welcomed President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for a visit at Kensington Palace.
Prince Harry jetted off to Toronto earlier this week to announce that the city would be the location for the 2017 Invictis Games. Then Harry was off to Orlando for the 2016 Invictis Games. Did Prince William quietly tag along to do a little partying with his bachelor brother?
Toronto is the biggest city in Canada and it is quite the party town. William and Harry could have whooped it up with lots of willing ladies, who knows.
What we do know Prince Harry has landed in Orlando for the start of the 2016 Invictis Games. Is Prince William with his younger brother? If so the princes might make a stop at Disney World where they went with Princess Diana as children.
Who wouldn’t want to escape the Middleton family? They probably descended like lotus on Kensington Palace or Anmer Hall for the Cambridge’s fifth wedding anniversary and Princess Charlotte’s first birthday. There’s only so much of Carole Middleton that one man can take and the Duke of Cambridge probably reached his limit and then some.
Wherever he is Prince William will be back to work on May 12 when he joins the launch of emergency services and transport industry coalition on preventing male suicide.
The Duke of Cambridge will then visit Passage Charity to witness how they are transforming the lives of homeless people. May 17 will find Prince William at the official opening of the Ralph Lauren Centre for Breast Cancer Research.
Kate Middleton has been keeping busy too. Just the other day the Duchess of Cambridge attended three different Royal events in one day. First Kate showed up to open the Magic Garden Playground at Hampton Court Palace.
After that Kate hurried off to attend a luncheon for the Anna Freud Centre of which she is a patron. Then it was off to the National Portrait Gallery to view the photographs taken of her for the British Vogue 100th anniversary.
Maybe Kate Middleton and Prince William have both had enough of spending time with Carole Middleton and Pippa Middleton? Having the entire family in town for an anniversary and birthday celebration must have been quite taxing. Come back to CDL for all you Royal news and reports!
