Tonight on ABC the glitz and the glamor returns to the ballroom as Dancing With The Stars returns for the eighth episode of the 23rd season. American competitive swimmer and a 12-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte & his professional dancer Cheryl Burke took the stage tonight and danced the Tango for their Halloween night dance to “Howlin’ For You” by The Black Keys.

On tonight’s episode, seven remaining couples will perform an individual Halloween-themed routine in a dance style not yet danced. At the end of the night, one couple will be eliminated.
Judges comments on Ryan Lochte’s DWTS Season 23 week 8 Tango:
Bruno: The Prince of Darkness with bite! That’s what I want to see, come out of yourself! Give us a true believable performance, a couple of things – don’t lose your shoulders. In the Tango glide a little more, don’t make it so steppy, but performance wise, so much better!
Carrie Ann: I agree Cheryl created a great world for you to kick and punch your way back, but you lost a little bit of your grace. It lacked some elegance and posture, but there was a lot of content in there. It was good and it was a little ughhhh…
Julianne: When Bruno called you the Prince of Darkness, you stood up like that and I realized that is what we have been missing. So from now on, just call yourself the Prince of Darkness. It was a little squatty at times, but your content outweighed that so I have to commend you – much better than last week.
