The Bachelor star, Ashley Salter, is pregnant and showing off her baby bump with her fiancee, Austin Brannen. The proud father-to-be shared the photo above on his Instagram page where Ashley Salter is posing in the classic baby bump stance.
If you’re a fan of The Bachelor in the least, you certainly know who Ashley Salter is. She starred in Chris Soules’ season where she was fully entertaining every time she was captured in front of the cameras. Does ‘pomegranates look like onions’ ring any bells for you? She also participated in Bachelor in Paradise, where we go to see Ashley show her adorable eccentricities, but did see a little more of her serious side mixed in there.
Us Weekly is reporting that Ashley Salter and her soon-to-be husband, Austin Brannen, are expecting their first baby together. Their source revealed, “Ashely is far along – she’s showing.” From the looks of the picture above, that is a true statement!
Ashley and Austin are college sweethearts who were destined for each other despite Ashley’s efforts to find love on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise. Sometimes, I guess you have to kiss a lot of frogs after you’ve already kissed your prince…in order to come back to the prince? Either way, it’s awesome news for Bachelor Nation! We always love a happy ending for the contestants who we grow attached to…even if it’s not love found on The Bachelor itself.
Now we will have to wait and see if Ashley and Austin will be walking down the aisle prior to the pitter patter of little feet. Or could we maybe be seeing a baby bump included in the wedding march?
We can look forward to seeing Ashley attend Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s wedding that will be airing on ABC on Valentine’s Day. It’s doubtful that her baby bump will be evident though since the wedding was of course pre-taped and the bump was likely less obvious at that point during the filming. How long do you think it will be until Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert announce that they are having a baby? Will they wait for a few years? Or will they start a family sooner rather than later?
