The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Eric (John McCook) intends on making some changes. Quinn (Rena Sofer) is getting her job back as well as another chance to be with the man she loves. Of course, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will obviously be against anything that brings Quinn closer.
It looks like an epic battle is heating up. We want to know who you’re rooting for in all of this. Are you on “Team Steffy” or “Team Quinn”? First, let’s look at this from Steffy’s point of view. She certainly has plenty of reasons to want Quinn out of the picture.
Liam (Scott Clifton) was kidnapped and kept away from Steffy for months. Quinn even sent misleading texts and voicemails to Steffy. She made sure Steffy was convinced that her relationship with Liam was over forever.
As a result, Steffy allowed herself to move on with Wyatt. She probably should’ve taken more time to process everything, but she was vulnerable and in need of support. Quinn pushed Wyatt to marry Steffy ASAP and he listened to her advice. They tied the knot thanks to Quinn’s deception and that’s caused a flood of complications.
Liam was even tricked into making love with Quinn, which just adds insult to injury. Steffy is still furious over Quinn’s crazy strategy and twisted obsession. B&B fans can definitely understand why Steffy wants nothing to do with her mother-in-law.
However, The Bold and the Beautiful has given us some good reasons to root for Quinn, too. Quinn finally has a mature and willing love interest. Eric wants to be with Quinn and they’re actually connecting. They’ve stumbled upon a unique romance.
Eric likes bad girls and Quinn desperately needs someone who can keep her sane. They balance each other out. It’s unfortunate that Eric also happens to be Steffy’s grandfather, but the heart wants what it wants.
Quinn had an agenda going into this relationship, but it seems like it’s become much more. The Bold and the Beautiful gave us a similar scenario when Quinn fell for Liam (aka “Adam”) at the cabin. What started out as a scheme eventually turned to love. The same thing has happened with Eric.
The plot to worm her way into the Forrester clan may continue, but love is likely Quinn’s main motive at this point. Plus, lonely Eric has found someone special. Should he be punished for Quinn’s previous mistakes? Perhaps Steffy should just steer clear of them both and get over it.
In a perfect world, Eric’s love life wouldn’t affect Steffy at all. It’s really none of her business. Alas, that’s not the case when you’re dealing with a woman like Quinn. Give her an inch and she takes a mile. Still, it’s kind of hard to hate Quinn when she provides such great drama.
