“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, January 8, tease that Paul (Doug Davidson) and Dylan (Steve Burton) will speculate about the driver who hit Billy (Burgess Jenkins). They’ll wonder if the person has covered his or her tracks. Paul will bring up the idea that the driver could have been preoccupied.

Paul will suggest Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) as a possibility. Dylan won’t buy that idea. Paul will find out that they were riding in a limo, so it’s a dead end.

At Crimson Lights, Jack (Peter Bergman) will rip into Victor (Eric Braeden) for trying to steal Billy’s opportunity while he fights for his life in a hospital bed. Victor will hint that he’s not responsible for Billy’s misfortune. They’ll argue as they try to get Kevin (Greg Rikaart) to make a decision. After Jack gets called to the hospital, Victor will urge Kevin to make the right choice.

Once Victor is gone, Kevin will take a phone call. Paul will be on the other line asking about surveillance footage from the athletic club. Before they go any further, Max will walk in. Kevin will tell Paul that Max showed up. Stitch will get the news and rush over. Max will just want to go home, but Stitch will try to get him to adapt his definition of the word.

Stitch will suggest that Max will be staying with people who love him. Max will eventually decide to try out this new living arrangement. Meanwhile, Abby will be distraught about all these unexpected changes. Abby will tell Dylan she’s concerned about the future of her marriage. Dylan will urge Abby to have faith that things will work out.

At Newman Enterprises, Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) will ask Adam (Justin Hartley) for some help regarding Marco (Peter Bergman). Adam will agree to ask Victor for Marco’s location. Victor will arrive and Luca will make his exit. However, Luca will stay outside the door and listen. When Luca hears Victor say he’ll provide the information, he’ll seem satisfied and leave.

Victor will write Marco’s location on a piece of paper and pass it along. Adam will wonder why Victor is giving it up. Victor will reply that it’s all a part of the plan. He’ll hint that Luca won’t suspect Adam is a double agent until it’s too late. According to Victor, Luca and the Santoris will never see it coming.

Elsewhere, Luca will mention that he doesn’t think Marisa (Sofia Pernas) should be helping Noah (Robert Adamson) with the cover-up. Marisa will defend her actions and explain the situation. Suddenly, Marisa will realize that Luca didn’t know anything about the accident.

He was just playing her for info. Luca will believe he needs to turn Noah in. Marisa will make it clear that Luca will lose her for good if he does.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Billy’s health will decline. After talking to the doctor, Jack will think it might be time to let Billy go. Jill (Jess Walton) will insist that she’s not giving up on her son.

Victoria will pipe up that Billy wouldn’t want to be kept alive by machines indefinitely. Jill will point out that Jack didn’t give up on Phyllis during her lengthy ordeal.

The doctor will emerge to fill them in on Billy’s deteriorating condition. He’ll think they should consider taking Billy off life support. Billy’s loved ones will gather around him in despair. Jill will sob as she grabs Billy’s hand.

The others will leave Victoria alone with Billy. She’ll tearfully beg Billy to wake up. Outside the room, Noah will watch Billy and Victoria nervously. Y&R viewers will be anxious to see if Noah’s conscience will wear him down. Stay tuned to the CBS soap to watch Noah deal with his guilt.
